Originally a historical farming property, Premium Dried Firewood for sale $15 per load, Approx 10 logs for a night (Cash Only) Limited to 20 Patrons, Clyde River Camp Grounds offer the ultimate for caravans and camping on manicured pastures directly on the Clyde River. We also offer Powered Caravan and RV sites, unpowered in Off peak times (May - August) For powered sites please book through: Clyde River Caravan and RV Resort. Please note campsites are non powered It is a 10 min drive from Nelligen town centre and a 20 min drive from Batemans Bay. If you need supplies you can also travel by boat into Batemans Bay and tie up to many of its wharfs for that different experience. The camping area is surrounded by walking tracks and over the Christmas period the renowned Clyde Berry Farm is open where you can pick your own fresh berries or relax on the grounds for a ice-cream. You will find Shallow Crossing is also just a 10 min drive up the River Road for an exhilarating swim in fresh mountain water. The traditional water side camp kitchen offers a BBQ and table to eat. Has power and lighting, fresh drinking water, toilet, hot and cold shower and plenty of cover. With a fire pit just outside for toasting of marshmallows this makes for the best camping spot in the region. Please be mindful this is a camping and caravaning experience, there is for your convenience a flushing toilet (bring own toilet paper). This site has its own concrete boat ramp making a heaven for all fisho's and skiers. The ramp is totally safe to launch any watercraft. With water onsite you can even flush motors at the end of the day. The property has Telstra coverage for added security.

The water is mostly fresh to brackish which is great for all water activities. You can camp anywhere along the river giving you that private getaway with convenience of amenities. Please be mindful this is a camping experience, there is for your convenience a flushing toilet (bring own toilet paper). Its a 10min drive from Nelligen town centre and a 20 min drive from Batemans Bay. If you need supplies you can also travel by boat into Batemans Bay and tie up to many of its wharfs for that different experience.  Great for motorbike riding weekends and holidays for those who enjoy endless trails throughout the Eurobodalla and Currawan areas. For larger van access, Black Flat Road can be used as a alternative route as is wider and has no blind corners. This route is about an extra 5 minutes longer from highway. At the end of Black Flat Road take a sharp right hand turn onto The River Road. The River Road is fully accessible for all vans but has a few blind corners that may not suit unconfident drivers. Caravans to be self sufficient and dump points are available in Batemans Bay.

Peace and quiet
Clyde River Caravan and RV Resort
The drive in was not a problem with our van. Ross welcomed us directed us to our camp space. He had fire wood to purchase. The grounds were lovely green and mowed. There is a toilet to use behind the house. Access to the water is via the boat ramp. With trees and vegetation along the bank. We enjoyed SUP boarding and bush walking while at our stay. We really enjoyed the peace and quiet. We will be back.

My friends and I (and our two dogs) had the best weekend camping at Clyde River at Ross and Lisa's property. The camping sites are very well kept, the areas nice and tidy, the space between campers is great too. Sites are flat so easy and suitable for setting up swags and tents. The toilet and shower facilities are very well clean and everything was provided. The location is perfect, we were able to get the boats in and out easily with the boat ramp on site. Highly recommend and we cant wait to come back!

Excellent flat green pitches for tents. Lots of space for the pup to stretch his legs. Firewood available and delivered to your pitch by Ross for $15 - so no need to bring it. Very quiet. Would stop again and for longer.

Our camping trip was absolutely amazing! The location was peaceful, scenic, and perfect for a relaxing getaway. The campsite was clean, well-maintained, and had everything we needed — from spacious pitches to convenient facilities. We enjoyed every moment — sitting around the campfire, exploring the trails, and stargazing at night.

Exceptional Host: Ross is fantastic! and went out of his way to make me feel welcome, even delivering firewood. · Perfect for Families: The huge, well-kept grassy area is a dream for kids to run and play safely. · Spacious & Private: The sites are well-spaced, so you have plenty of privacy and peace. No noisy, crowded caravan park feel here.

Ross and Lisa have such a beautiful spot they share with everyone. Ross was really accommodating on our first camping trip with our dogs and made us feel welcome and at ease with it all. The facilities and location are great! Will be back.

Top campsite! Grass super well cut, property well maintained, has a boat ramp as well which goes onto the Clyde river which is so pretty. Can head into the cafe and pub via the river too. Each site has its own campsite, very spacious. Wood fired pizza oven, hot shower and toilets also on the property. Would definitely return.

We had a very relaxing three days at Clyde River Camping. The site was right by the river with beautiful views over the water as well as plenty of bird life to watch. Ross and Lisa were helpful and welcoming. The facilities including toilet, shower and barbecue were clean and accessible. The directions were clear and it was easy to find the place.

Ross was an awesome host! The campsite is in a beautiful spot right on the river with spectacular views. It’s peaceful, relaxing, and close enough to Batemans Bay to enjoy the local restaurants and attractions. Ross was very friendly and welcoming .I’d highly recommend this place to anyone looking for a great getaway by the water!

Beautiful site on the Clyde River with well spaced sites on lush lawn all with campfire pits. Great for paddling. However, small tank connected to showers meant hot water ran out on second night, but we were staying after a busy period on the second week of the school holidays after a long weekend.

Clyde River campground was the perfect landing spot in the middle of a three day kayak trip. Beautiful water views surrounded by forest with fire-pits for every campground and firewood supplied for a reasonable price. We were able to cook on the BBQ and use the boat ramp to get kayaks in and out of the water. Such a good campground that we booked a second night and came back in our cars after dropping the kayaks off. Highly recommended, friendly and helpful hosts who clearly love the river life and want to share it. Thanks Ross & Lisa.

We loved camping at Ross and Lisa’s property. The camp sites were well maintained and there was plenty of space available that we barely noticed other campers. Easy to fish along the bank and there were fire pits available for a little fire. Will definitely be going back!

Absolutely beautiful camp spot. Hosts were wonderful. Road is a bit tight though. A sign on the entrance would be easier as well. But overall great place!

The property is stunning. A breathtaking area. Very peaceful and great sites, all on the river. The hosts were polite and accommodating. The facilities are basic but clean. The River Road is a bit hairy with a caravan, suggest you take Black Flat Road but note that there are some steep sections.
