Great spot for a quick stop over for caravaners to reset. Great facilities on offer. Beautiful views of the sunset. Darrin was very welcoming.

Ceder Ridge was a nice spot. Tidy, spacious, great views and close to town. Rec space is tidy and entertaining. Though the pool table cues Nehemiah tips replaced.
Not impressed with the following. Zero contact with the host. Didn’t know if we had an allocated spot or if it was a free for all. Sent messages, but had no reply. Biggest annoyance was the dogs. We love dogs, but one was constantly trying to mount our dog (luckily he is not aggressive), and the other lying under the van and car wheels. Barking at random times throughout the night.

We requested a last minute booking to stay due to being rained out at our previous campsite. Darrin was prompt and friendly. The communal areas were outstanding and very warm. We loved spending time with the friendly dogs. The check in instructions were clear and the site was very quiet and peaceful. We had a great stay.

Amazing. Glamping not camping. Very comfortable shared space that we were very lucky to have to ourselves. Lovely to have warm aircon on an unexpectedly freezing cold night. Boys loved the pool table and tennis table. Adults loved the warm shower and en suite. Lovely leather couches. Make sure you get a coffee and bite to eat at the Roasted Kombi in town as well.

This hipcamp was fantastic, it has everything you need. Darrin was a great host and the camp is only 5 mins out of parkes. Will definitely be going back!

Great place if it’s very hot or cold with a nice air conditioned cabin for us to use with sofas, pool and table tennis, perfect for kids or teenagers to play in. There were chickens, horses over the fence, sheep and the adorable Penny the dog who was happy to snuggle at any moment. The sites also have beautiful views over the valley. Also only 4 minutes from the excellent aviation museum and a few minutes more to town.

Fantastic two night stay at Cedar Ridge. We had the place to ourselves.New clean amenities. Games room/camp kitchen. Close to all that Parkes has to offer. Great breakfast at the Roasted Combi Cafe. Thank you Darrin. Hope to return again soon.!

We contacted host as we needed an over night stay on our travels. Hosts were lovely when we arrived & the spot was amazing. Unfortunately we could only stay 1 night but we all wanted to stay more. Kids have already asked if we are going back there. When we left we stopped & got coffee's from their coffee shop which also tasted fantastic. Would highly recommend in staying here.
