Site 4-Valley views in the orchard
RV/tent site · Sleeps 12 · Vehicles under 12 mSite 4 is situated at our adjoining property, # 31 Canoelands Road. Located in a grassy area atop an unfenced steep decline surrounded by orchard on one side, looking over the valley and stunning views across the Marra Marra National park. There is a toilet block as well as a single toilet, shower and washing machine located near our shop and cafe area. This is a 2 minute drive or a 5 minute walk from the location of the site. A camp toilet is recommended for night. This location will comfortably accommodate 2 caravans or 3 tents. This site is not recommended for small children. This site is located near houses. On occasions we have visitors till late. Please also be aware that the Neighbour has a cows and roosters and a dog that can be a little noisy. Fires are welcome as long as there is not a fire ban. A fire drum will be provided. Wood can be ordered through us or you can BYO. We have a boutique shop and cafe on site (next door) so morning coffee, breakfast and lunch can be purchased. Trading from 9am. (closed Tuesdays and at times in non harvest season) We also have honey, jams, chutneys and drinks available. If you would like to do some picking (when in season) you are welcome to. You may pick what’s harvesting to consume while you are onsite within reason. (This does not include strawberries and blueberries, they will need to be purchased prior to consumption) Any produce you take home with you will need to be purchased prior to departure. We offer a range of activities. We have animals to feed each morning, horses, chickens, goats, pigs, guinea pigs and alpacas. You are welcome to join in. We also offer a tractor ride on weekends and school holidays (can be arranged with shop staff). Please note that we are a working farm and a pick your own orchard so patrons, farm staff will possibly be passing your campsite throughout the day although we will do our best to reduce traffic in your location. We also live 60m from this site. It is possible you will hear us or barking dogs during the night at this site. Please note, fruit will be harvesting around this location throughout November. There are also power lines above this site although they don't generally spoil the ambience of the view.
