We camped at campsite number 1 which was spacious and right next to the dam. Campsite 2 was across the other side of the camp, far enough away so that it was quiet and we had complete privacy.
The site allows campfires and had lots of free firewood around the grounds. Adrian the host was kind enough to chop us up some extra firewood too.
The site has access to a bathroom with a bath, hot shower and toilet which is shared with campsite 2. This is a short walk from both camps. There is also tank water you can use from an outside tap which is drinkable.
It is a dog friendly camp and our dog loved having a free run of the grounds. Adrian has 5 gentle cows that live in the field next to the camp which he let into the site so we could feed them which the kids loved! Our dog also enjoyed helping Adrian take the cows to their field at the end of the day!
There is a family of kangaroos that live on site too who came to say hello and a lot of wildlife and birds.
There is a dam next to the site which is shallow enough for children to play in and is deep enough for a swim. This was lovely to cool off in! I would recommend taking some inflatables which we will definitely do next time!
There is a Spa a 15 minute drive away in Coraki town if you need to grab essentials including ice or food.
Overall I would highly rate this campsite, great host, lovely grounds, peaceful and our kids said it was the best camping trip they’ve ever had.

Great site, nice and peaceful, has a toilet and shower. Adrian was a great host. Towed us out when I wasn’t watching where I was going and drove into a ditch 😂 and gave us free firewood 🙏

Waterbird Sanctuary Site 1
We had a fantastic few nights at Adrian's property. Hospitable host, extremely helpful, laid back and just left us to it. We stayed in a tent with our toddler and enjoyed exploring the land, swimming in the creak, looking for kangaroos and meeting the cows. Shady spots between the trees. No one else was camping there so it felt very peaceful. Went fishing, built a fire and read our books. Rivers to explore around the area too.

Went with my small family for 5 nights and we had a lovely time.
Beautiful and relaxing spot and the owner Adrian went out of his way to make our stay awesome.

Current condition of property not mentioned and site booked unsuitable for vehicle. No reply to email until a day after my booking. All in all a waste of time, money and a weekend.
