We had such a wonderful stay at Kateâs farm campsite. Kate was an absolutely amazing host, so warm, welcoming and thoughtful. She kindly gave us fresh free range eggs and some lovely garlic, which was such a special touch and really added to the whole farm experience.
The camping spot itself was beautiful, peaceful and perfectly located. It felt secluded and relaxing, yet it was an ideal distance from the shops and the beach, making it easy to explore while still enjoying the quiet surroundings. Evenings were especially magical, with gorgeous views overlooking the dam.
One of the highlights for us was the lovely shed by the water. Sitting there overlooking the dam and spotting turtles was such a memorable experience. It was the perfect place to unwind after a day out.
Kate also recommended some fantastic nearby spots, which kept us busy during our three night stay and every single one was amazing. Communication was excellent throughout and we felt completely looked after from start to finish.
We would absolutely camp here again and highly recommend it to anyone looking for a peaceful getaway.

Absolutely lovely location! Our host was really communicative and organised given our late booking request and it made our stay easy and effortless. Hugely appreciated and definitely recommend (not just because of the blueberries!)

The farm is a perfect place for a stay. Kate welcomed us with a bag of fresh mangoes and we were welcome to pick the blueberries. The farm was easy to find, was convenient off the highway and was lovely and quiet. Would highly recommend it.

Great simple spot off the highway. Blueberries were great to pick and eat and the kids loved feeding all the turtles in the dam.
Host Kate was lovely.
The only issue is the site is no where near level so just be aware if youre in a van you'll have to level up a fair bit.
Apart from that its a great little camp spot.

What an amazing stay!
The Blueberry picking and turtle feeding being a big highlight of this unique spot. So secluded and relaxing, the host providing a large fire pit also.
I do think it was on the pricier side, for a campsite that is on a slant, with no running water, toilet facilities or bin.
However, the uniqueness of the spot felt worth it 100%.

Nice little spot, sloppy grounds, long section pretty flat just had to get the car right for roof top tent. Nice little walk around.
Didnt see in the add picking blueberries costs so prepair to have cash and leave in shed for blueberry picking, buckets in shed. Good setup. Fairly quiet area.

We absolutely loved our stay. Kate messaged me back answering all my questions right away and greeted us at the entrance! She was super friendly and helpful. Even if Kate werenât there it was signed well so we easily found our spot, as well as the blueberry patch. Site 2 was very secluded, we actually forgot there were other people around on the other side of the dam! The turtles were adorable and the shed itself was so picturesque. Had a great time picking blueberries! We will recommend to our family and friends and be back very soon! Cutest hipcamp ever!

The blueberry farm was a lovely stop over on our trip South! Kids went nuts picking delish blueberries and the site was quiet and secluded. Bit of a tight turn getting into site 2 and we only have a 16ft van but a beautiful stay all the same!

We enjoyed our stay at Bucca Valley Blueberries by the dam. We booked on short notice and Kate was very welcoming and bought us down some dry wood to have a fire. Easy stop 5 mins off the highway. Very peaceful location

We loved caravanning at Bucca Valley Blueberries, the directions were clear and Kate was super helpful when we needed to remove a stake to enter into the property. We loved the view of the dam and feeding the turtles, the horses in the paddock beside us were so beautiful to watch too. Fire pit provided and it was the whole camping experience. You can pick blueberries when they are in season too so we will be sure to stay again around December - January!

We had a short but lovely experience at the Blueberry Farm. We stayed at site 2 which was very private and although a few reviews suggested it may be a bit slopey we found the area down the bottom at the back near the firepit had a flat enough spot for our tent setup and all was fine. The kids enjoyed feeding the turtles with the food Kate left out for us and getting to see the newborn foal!

The host was lovely and extremely helpful in finding our campsite considering we arrived after dark. We were offered delicious fresh eggs on arrival which we really appreciated. The campsite itself was very well kept and had some horses on site! Thank you for having us Kate :)

Lovely place, plenty of fire wood to scavenge and awesome fire pit. The horses were a nice touch to be around.
Plenty of room and felt very safe. Could hear the ocean as we started to go to sleep.

Lovely Location, Very Sloped Sites

The location was lovely, just out of Moonee Beach with shops and beach very accessible. No traffic noise from the main road.
Site 2 was unusable for us as the access was not possible with our 19'6" van - it was lucky we had booked both sites with our friends and had planned to use one site together anyway.
We were situated on Site 1 and it is very sloped (approx 10 degree slope). Our van has airbag suspension and we've never had to use levelling ramps before this trip. But even with levelling ramps, our airbags were at maximum on one side to keep the van level.
The blueberry trees were a hit with the kids and we had plenty of fresh blueberries for the duration of our stay. They also loved the dam and being able to check out the turtles, water dragon and other fish and frogs in residence.
Because of the blueberry picking, the sites don't have a huge amount of privacy as all the visitors to the farm have open view of Site 1. This wasn't a massive issue for us but is worth mentioning if you're looking for a more private setting.

Beautiful setting next to the dam, we were lucky enough to have the space to ourselves. Flat enough to set up a roof top tent. We loved the blueberry picking and outdoor area next to the dam.

Loved staying at Kateâs property.
The ensemble of frogs, cicadas, and birds made falling asleep and waking up especially beautiful. Wonderful microclimate with baby grass hoppers and dragonflies, and turtles in the lily pond.
I enjoyed collecting berries and cooking breakfast in the shed with whatever I had on me.

Loved camping on Kates property, has a good mix of sunny and shady areas and loved seeing the ducks and horses. We expected more of a hill but there was good flat space for our tent which was great. Kate was a very good host who gave us loads of wood for our fires and also gave us eggs on arrival. Would definetly recommend for others and come back. Super close drive to shops and the beach in moonee. Great trip!

Nice quiet private spot, whilst most of the site is on a slope there is a nice flat part to park, we didn't even have to level our van. There is a fire ring provided. It was nice walking through the blueberry trees.

Nice spot near the dam. Going to sleep to the sound of frogs and waking up to the birds. The site was quite sloped so make sure you have a set up that can accommodate this.

We loved our stay at Kateâs property, the site was well maintained and after reading other reviews about levelling we were pleasantly surprised to find relatively level ground with only minor adjustment needed. The site has trees on two sides ( with the dam behind the trees on one) and a gentle slope up to another paddock on the third side. Once through the gate to the site you are far enough away from the driveway for privacy (There are a few people coming and going to the property to pick blueberries but itâs far enough away not to bother you) and being able to pick fresh blueberries for breakfast was a bonus! There is another camping spot on the opposite side of the dam, but we hardly noticed other campers were present. We had read that it was shady and were concerned about solar, the site is shaded by trees but we found there to be plenty of space to set up slightly away from the trees and we camped for 4 days with no issues with power. The location is perfect, with either mountains or beaches within a short drive, allowing us to explore both in relatively short time. We will definitely return!

We loved our stay here so much. It was beautiful and so peaceful, especially at night, while gazing at the stars, listening to the sounds of the bush.
