Lovely spot just outside Armidale with wonderful views out towards the national park. Great bird life too. Most importantly, Vicki, Tim and their family were fun, friendly and super helpful - fantastic hosts!

Really large space, not far from town either,good campsite even for a night to rest. Very responsive replies if you kinda not sure where to pick some spot. And they offer you some fire wood if you feel kinda bonfire middle of the night. Alpacas sightings really cool. Good experience.

Bramwell was a beautiful place to stay. Vicki and Tim are excellent hosts, and made us feel very welcome. They were happy to share tips on places worth visiting on our trip. The land near the front dam was level, and very peaceful watching the full moon rise over the dam after we cooked our dinner on the outdoor fire & grill. In the morning the Alpacas came down to say hello! I highly recommend Bramwell as a stop for anyone who enjoys a tranquil setting and great hosts.

The front dam site offered a lovely view, particularly in the light of the setting sun. The campsite is only 5 mins from town but on a quiet road. Highly recommend if you are after privacy and a bush feel, while close to everything!

Picturesque landscape with well maintained camping area. Vicki and Tim had generously supplied an abundance of firewood that kept us nice and warm.
Very close to Armidale, the Blue Holes and many other national parks and waterfalls.

A lovely tranquil stay at the back dam. Vicki was a very responsive host. Unfortunately we didn’t get to me her as they were away but we were very well looked after by the lovely son in law Craig’s. He delivered us courtesy firewood for our two night stay. The friendly Alpaca's were lovely roaming around camp.

Back Dam
We stayed at the back dam site. The site was mown, reasonably level and private. The host was there to greet us and show us to the site and had some firewood for us to start a fire. The property is well maintained and a short drive to Armidale. Would stay again if we are ever in the area, there are two other sites, but they are well spaced apart.

We loved the Back Dam at Bramwell. We were greeted by the alpacas which was very cool. Then we're fortunate enough to watch the bird life wash in the dam and fly around. There was a firepit and alot of firewood provided that just added to the charm.
The scenery and serenity will have us back again!!!

We had a fantastic stay at East View. Vicki and Tim were such great hosts, full of information to help us out, provided suggestions of places to visit while in the area. Communication was brilliant. Great fire pit supplied at the site, and an abundance of firewood. Alpacas greeted us on arrival. Just on the edge of town, directions and signage easy to follow.

Vicki & Tim are great hosts, nice outlook to the south on east view site. Quiet, peaceful and private yet so close to town. Easy drive to many different scenic locations. Enjoyed our stay.

Absolute spectacular spot! We were greeted by the owners who are super friendly and made us feel so welcome!
We were then greeted by the alpacas on our site, who were also very friendly even around our 2yo! The east view had lovely views and very tranquil. Would 10/10 recommend and we will be back when travelling through again!!!

After not being able to get into the Armidale Showground (booked out by a horse cutting event), I reached out to Vicki to see if she could accommodate my wife & I in our caravan along with two other caravans for our friends.
More than accommodating we setup at Back Dam and have absolutely no regrets - in fact this became the highlight of our trip. Such a peaceful, amazing stay with spectacular weather (sunrise, sunset and stars blanketing the sky).
Everyone should experience sitting around the fire experiencing the peacefulness of this property.
Far enough from town to not be bothered by it and close enough that it’s not a hassle. If we pass through in the future we will stay here again for sure.

We lived staying on our rooftop tent. We stayed at front dam and Vicki and her husband had lazy chairs out and a fire pit with fire wood which was lovely! We would stay here again!

Back Dam
We had a wonderful stay at Bramwell. Greeted by friendly hosts, Vicky & Tim before heading to our secluded camp where alpacas awaited. Fit pit with wood ready to go (and topped up during our stay). We had apples picked from the tree dropped at our camp which was an extra special treat. Highly recommend!

A wonderful stay at “East View” with glorious morning sunshine ☀️. Vicki and Tim were friendly and welcoming ensuring we had plenty of firewood and telling us about local attractions. The site was easy to access requiring small ramps to level the van easily. Absolutely recommend and we will return if in the area again 😁

Vicki was exceptional in helping us find the perfect spot for the caravan and her husband helped guiding us onto level ground. We camped in the east view area. The sunsets and outlook were amazing.
Vicki contacted us during our stay to ensure we were comfortable and all was well. Overall, an exceptional good host.

They even provided a fireplace and firewood.
Yes Vicki it was very cold in the morning. The diesel heater had a good workout.
