The Bottom Paddock is located within a short drive from pristine uncrowded beaches, National Parks and the coastal holiday towns of Bermagui and Tathra on the far south coast of NSW. Grocery and supply stores are all within easy reach. The property is almost entirely forested with an array of vegetation community types including wetlands, riparian, coastal rainforest, open spotted gum forest and coastal scrub. We welcome you to immerse yourself in the varied terrain by foot or bike. You can explore the hillside and ridges, or have a gentle meander and swim down by the river. The property has two listings to choose from, paddock sites and a bell tent site, which are nestled beside the waters of the Murrah River underneath beautiful old mother She Oaks. Each campsite has its own fire pit, grill and hotplate. Let us know if you need to borrow a skillet or camp oven. Firewood is also available if required. The Bottom Paddock is an evolving property with strong roots in community sufficiency, environmental and regenerative initiatives.

Strungybark Camp is nestled on the banks of the Murrah River and tucked away a little more than the other camp sites for a more secluded stay. This site features a fire pit with grill and firewood is available for purchase if required. Your also welcome to cut your own firewood from fallen branches. Guests will have access to a communal toilet within a 1 minute walk. We have facilities to compost food scraps in our worm farm. However please kindly take any general waste and recycling with you. Our property is home to native rats and mice so please be mindful of leaving food unattended. For your information, our neighbour's cattle have access to our property from time to time, and being curious in nature, may be inclined to say hello.

Bell Tent site is located on a flat grassy bank beside the Murrah River. The bell tent includes a queen bed with quality lounge and Linen provided. bins provided. firewood provided. A fire pit is located at this site. Guests will enjoy river and forest surrounds but please note there may be other campers nearby. Guests will have access to a communal toilet within a 1 minute walk. A bucket bath is provided and can be heated on the fire. Guests will need to take waste with them and leave no trace. Food waste may be composted in our hungry worm farm.

Stringybark Camp
Had a great time at Stringybark campsite. So peaceful and relaxing, nothing but glorious views and lots of birdsong. Chris and Laura were wonderful hosts, really friendly and helpful.
