Attungatharah (Bigyard Hipcamp)is a property located on the Mowamba river at an elevation of 1100 meters. It is situated south of Jindabyne 13 km along the Barry Way and 7km up the Mowamba valley on the Bigyard Road and is on the fringe of Kosciuszko National Park. The Mowamba River catchment starts high in the Cascades on the eastern side of the Snowy Mountains. Mowamba Magic (water) flows from this pristine environment through an undisturbed catchment flowing past the property A number of day Mountain Cycle Rides into Kosciusko National Park and 1/2 day rides directly out of the property plus shorter ones to historic old timber mills. Bushwalking and nature trails up onto the Moonbah Ridge at the back of the property. See the Yellow Belly Glider Habitat tree, you may be lucky to see them feed. Catch trout and swim in the Mowamba River. Canoe the exciting Lower Snowy Gorge just 45 minutes drive. Ride horses on the many local trails by arrangement. Station Resort in winter renowned in providing a first class char grill and restaurant. Snowy River Winery Dalgety Brewing wine tasting and restaurant alongside the Snowy River is approx 30 minutes drive. Thredbo and Perisher approx 45 minutes drive. Skitube 35 minutes drive . A ctivities include Mountain Cycling Bush Walking ,Fly Fishing, Swimming Canoeing, Stargazing looking up at the stars and objects in space as a hobby, as part of scientific study, or as part of astrology (= the belief that the position of the stars influences people's lives): Bigyard Hipcamp is far from any city lights and perfect for stargazing.
