Stunning working beef cattle property in the New England a short drive from the beautiful riverside town of Bendemeer. Sitting its own private valley free from phone reception you can leave the troubles of the world behind just relax by the fire. Walk or mountain bike up the farms back ridge and take in stunning views or go for a swim crystal clear dam. Off farm it is short drive to the Bendemeer Hotel for lovely meal and beer on the bank of the McDonald River. Which is home to the mighty Murray Cod along with Trout for the keen angler. Whether you’re all for adventure or just looking to get away we have the place from you.Take a break by the water in the centre of the farm. The ponds campsite sits near the edge of a crystal clear spring fed, sit by the fire and watch the fish splash in the dam or cool off from the summer sun with a swim. Pull in where you like and setup camp wherever you like by the dam. Feel free to have a fire and cook on the open flames in the fire pit. We can provide firewood at extra cost. We do ask that you don’t fish the dam as we are in a number building phase. We also ask you that take your waste with you and bring your own camp toilet as we don’t have toilet or shower facilities yet.
