Welcome to 369 acres of incredible bush with 5 semi cleared acres. We are 100% off grid, our neighbours are few but the wildlife is plentiful. Choose to pitch a tent camp, bring your caravan or motorhome. We have good access for all types of vehicles, so your visit can be stress free. There is tank drinking water available if you wish or BYO water. You're also welcome to use the basic camp kitchen. There is a toilet available (pit toilet). We realise dogs are part of the family and they are welcome to camp with you, in harmony with the native wildlife. Campfires are permitted outside of fireban season. Don't forget your camera as there is much to explore including big boulders covered in moss, creeks, ferns and amazing places this ancient land has to offer.,

Good spot for a night or 2 would recommend for a pass though place to camp ensure you have booked a few hours prior to getting there as there if not much Mobile phone signal and a code for the gate has to be sent though

Stunning property, incredible host

Surrounded by granite boulders, thick bush and uninterrupted sounds of nature. Absolutely loved our stay here, could not recommend this camp more. Jodie and Rik, our hosts, were so warm and welcoming, always attentive and caring, even helped fix our car without hesitation, bloody legends. Short drive to Bald Rock NP and to Tenterfield. Will stay again next time we are in the area. Thanks Jodie and Rik <3

Lovely camp ground however toilet there was no toilet paper, the waste basket was full and the toilet itself was almost full. I think it was over priced for what was available.

Loved our couple of nights at Bald Rock Station. We went up on the ridge and found a nice private spot. Never heard or saw anyone but still close drive down to camp kitchen and drop toilet Fantastic spot close to bald Rock and tenterfield.

We loved the serenity. There were good amenities, and plenty of water to use as well. The walk was great! The owners were friendly and accommodating. Great spot for a quiet getaway.

We took our caravan, wanting an off grid experience, and we got it! Drop toilet , no power , no water connection, and we loved it !! You just drive in and choose your own spot , there are fire pits everywhere and peace and quiet, we drove to Girraween national park but you could just spend a week here enjoying the peace. We didn’t get firewood but I think it was $18 for a load of hardwood. Great place would definitely visit again.

Apart from owners, only camper that night and it was quiet and peaceful. Saw a kangaroo and kookaburra. Went for a wander in the morning, plenty of spots to set up camp, over near the dam as well. Toilet is in a good location - nearby to sites.

Plenty of space to set up camp, there are multiple areas with fire pits, the train carriages are a quirky addition! Close to Bald Rock National Park, Girraween National Park is about 30 minutes drive and they’re both worth a visit, not too far out of Tenterfield. Clean and well maintained drop toilet. Great spot for both large and small groups. If you’re looking for a Hipcamp in the area, this would be a great option.

Amazing outlook over bush and granite rock. Lots of space for kids to roam and explore. Perfect with the fire at dusk. Great location near Tenterfield and Boonoo Boonoo NP. We’d love to come back again.

We camped not far from the trains, and walking distance to the well maintained toilets. We had the place to ourselves the first night and only had two others by the third night. The highlight for us was the Yellow tailed Black Cockatoos that visited unexpectedly and the cameras quickly came out.

We stayed at The Original, we had the place to ourselves. Such an amazing property, campsites were private and well thought out. Clean facilities. Hosts were great! Such a beautiful property to explore, the boulders are magic! We seen kangaroos, wallabies, black cockatoos up close and personal, very special. We will be back.

We all enjoyed a nice relaxing stay and we were the only guests there for the 2 nights. We explored the 4x4 track and surrounding area. It’s a lovely spot. Thank you for a nice stay.

What a beautiful place to stay. Each camp-site is well situated with their own fire pit. The toilets, amazing! Usually not a pit toilet fan but they were immaculate and so clean and no smell! Even a sensor light to help see. The owners have thought of everything and their communication was quick and easy.

We stayed "Under the stars" for one night and it was beautiful! Loved the open grassed spaces surrounded by beautiful bushland. Very unusual with the train carriages as an option to stay as well... I was a little concerned about the driveway but that may have been because we were new to our vehicle....lovely and quiet...pit toilets and a basic camp kitchen rounded out the place nicely.
