Great privacy. Quiet site. Mowed sites, easy to find out spot. Lovely host. No hassles at all. We enjoyed staying at this site. The views of the view and kangaroos were a highlight. We camped here so we could go to the Dubbo Zoo. Zoo was literally just up the road. Would definitely stay again.

This was our first experience with Hipcamp. Our host met us at the gate and showed us to our site. We were in a nice grassy paddock, no issues getting to the site. We stayed 1 night and saw a lovely sunset.

We loved our stay at Balaka Farm. Phoebe was an excellent host and made us feel so welcome. She took the time to show us around the property and went out of her way to ensure we enjoyed our time there. The ground was level and the camp site was perfect for our three vehicles and caravans.

This is a great camp, flat mowed site, close to Tamworth and a stones throw to Kootingal where there is a well stocked IGA, coffee shop and a pub with nice meals.
Phoebe is a great host, with her friendly family making you feel welcome. Plenty of farm animals ( goats, lambs, chooks, geese, dogs, and puppies to keep the kids. amused. Thanks for having me.

Perfect stop over! Lovely spot just off main Hwy, very easy to find and get into with our big van.
Phoebe and family were so friendly and welcoming. They currently have puppies which were the star of the show! Yummy fresh eggs available also.
Definitely recommend and they also have self contained accommodation, a repurposed shearing shed which looks amazing too!

We had a lovely stay here. It was peaceful, quiet and the farm animals came up to the fence to greet us occasionally. Phoebe was very welcoming and helped us to settle in well for our stay.

The converted shearing shed was beautiful, very modern inside with a great rustic country feel, it has plenty of room to move around in, the beds are very comfortable, has a lovely bath tub and plenty of fenced in yard around the shed for the pets to run around. A beautiful spot with hill views and not too far from Kootingal township and also Moonbi township.

Plenty of room on level ground. Farm animals around. Just down the road was a cafe. Excellent breakfast. Great coffee. Nearby hardware store for a gas refill and battery for key.

Converted Shearing Shed
We had a wonderful stay at Balaka Farm. Our host was friendly and inviting, taking us on a tour of the farm to visit the beautiful baby lambs and other animals. The accommodation is excellent and was made warm & cosy, even in the middle of winter. Electric blankets and ample bedding were supplied. The kitchen is very well equipped and all areas were well kept & clean. We highly recommend for a stay with a difference in beautiful, quiet surrounds.

Phoebe and her family were lovely and we thoroughly enjoyed our stay here. The accommodation is just beautiful and exactly as described. The surroundings are just beautiful.
We had to change our travel plans and Phoebe was flexible and accommodating. I would definitely recommend staying here and would stay again.
