Matt was very friendly and very helpful. Made the whole experience very easy. The camp site itself was great, plenty of space for the 8 cars we had with plenty of space between each camp. And we ordered 2 trailer loads of wood which was already set up near the fire which was amazing saved us having to do that too

We had an amazing weekend on Matt's property. The campsite is very private and surrounded by beautiful views. The kids loved the drive up to the hill top and down to the nearby creek. The drop toilet was clean and well maintained. Will definitely be back.

Overall we had great experience. Unfortunately the toilet was not clean and lots of cobwebs. Also provide the toilet paper.

What an incredible escape! Aurora-Exclusive delivered everything we hoped for and more. Our host was genuinely welcoming and made the check-in process seamless - you can tell they truly care about creating a memorable experience for their guests.
The privacy here is unmatched. It felt like having our own private slice of the Blue Mountains—no direct neighbours, no noise, just surrounded by stunning bushland and those breathtaking escarpment views.
The hut is wonderful - thoughtfully designed and perfectly positioned to make the most of the scenery. It provided the perfect base for our adventure while still feeling connected to nature.
The highlight of each evening was gathering around the campfire under the star-filled sky. There's something magical about sitting by the crackling flames with wombats and kangaroos wandering nearby - it's the kind of authentic Australian bush experience you dream about.
It was amazing that we were allowed to bring our dog! It made this trip complete.

This place is something special ! The 4km 4WD track to the site was a bit of fun. Lots of wildlife to listen to and see. There was a group at the other site nearby, but we had enough privacy and peace. Can’t wait to go back !

Site 2 - The Furthest Reaches
Brilliant secluded site, 4km track and a few short steep sections, Matt has recently graded the road in and was perfect and well kept, but 4wd capable vehicle is a must.
Whilst it did rain most of the time the whole area was free of water and didn't pool, so you could setup anywhere in the area and not have to worry. If bringing a camper trailer, its worth bringing levelling ramps as some parts are on a slight slope, but its marginal.
Matt the host was awesome and was very helpful throughout our stay, would recommend highly and we will visit again without a doubt!

I loved the views, how quiet and private it felt, and the excellent location for exploring the various attractions in the Blue Mountains. It was about an hour to Katoomba. Matt was very accommodating and friendly as well.

We stayed over Easter weekend 2025 and the place was awesome. Outside of camp, it was flat out, and we had this little oasis that we could retreat to so we could get away from the hoards.
Definitely worth it if you have a 4WD, camper trailer or small caravan.

We have been to Matt’s property multiple times to different sites and it never disappoints! The furthest reaches is like a very large forest meadow nestled in a sheltered valley with enough space for two sites at either end of the space. You can see the other campers in the distance but there is still a lot of privacy. There is a pit toilet near site 2 and also a swing! Quite steep descents to the site so a 4x4 is recommended, but road condition is otherwise easy and well maintained. High recommend!

We loved camping at Aurora views. It was so so beautiful and so nice and quiet. The directions were clear and we saw so much wild life. Had a lovely fire, did local walks and watched an amazing sunrise/sunset.

Great flat site with expansive views. It's exposed to the elements so be sure to prepare for that.

A fantastic 2 night camp for 2 pp, awning and swag setup.
This is a great spot - amazing to be so elevated and exposed (in a good way) and yet feel so secluded. Super quiet with an amazing aspect across the valley. And there was some nice walking to be had.
Matt was great, and the firewood was excellent value.
4WD a must for access.
The only watch-outs -- and they are just watch-outs -- is there is little shade at this spot and wind exposure... both easy to navigate if you know ahead of time!
