I stayed here with my partner at a really busy time of year just after new years. The admin and keeping track from hosts seemed to be stressing them out, and on our arrival (at a time they recommended) they were quite frazzled and didnt know who we were, assumed we were people who didnt book and just showed up (off to a bad start).
They had more people staying that they could hold on their property, so we were put away, in a corner, further from the toilet and shower.
Because it was a stressful arrival we forgot to mention that we paid for a add on power, so we arranged later to meet up at 8pm via text and when we met up with our host, he was quite rude and reactive to the fact that we only needed it to charge our laptops, so we didnt worry about it because our hosts made comments that made out it was a big deal for him to do.
We only stayed one night when we booked two. There were bull ants roaming, the property is very nice and quiet.
When contacting them for a refund they were very helpful and nice and explained that the add on power was for refrigerators and TVs etc, which was helpful.
I would not stay again.

Paul and Chris are the best hosts. Amazing place, quite, beautiful views over the lake and just 20 min from Yamba. But the first reason to spend your holidays there is to meet the owners, they are simply a beautiful and pure people. We spend 5 days with Paul & Chris and was by far the best holiday experience. We'll miss them and our morning chats with a cup of coffee. Thanks again for everything my friend!!

Pleasant enough with the sounds of the birds and lovely tall woods. We were expecting a bit more as the photos implied. The photos are the view and flat grass area from the main house. The area allocated for campers is quite rugged. Clay like. Unfortunately we had loads of rain. Not the hosts fault but made it quite unpleasant. There’s are large dogs on the residential property and loads of massive sand flies that bite. Paul was happy to have a chat. Good for a short stop over.

The camping have everything that the ad says but it was dirty, uneven and the host was unfriendly. Also there was a lake full of frogs all around the place.

Overall it's a good campsite but very rough not good for kids, Lots of bull ant nests and super friendly dogs but too big and aggressive for little ones they got injured a few times. The view is on the other side of the property where you will not be camping so thats a downside too. The owner was super kind and accommodating with our stay so that's something to look forward to if you try this place, I would definitely recommend if your camping with mates or dogs but not with kids.

I booked last minute and arrived before they knew I was coming but were very welcome to the stranger getting comfortable on their property! The property is lovely and spacious under the gums with a lovely view over the water for sunset and clean amenities to use. Chris and Paul both came over to chat and welcome me, two excited doggos aswell. Lovely people. First time using hipcamp and I was quite happy 😊

We brought our jayco camper. Paul helped us find a suitable site which was not flat but still good enough. The lovely view, pictured in the ad, was what attracted us here. There are no defined sites. I estimate there are about 5 sites with good views. There are plenty of sites but I decided I would only enjoy the five or so near the entrance. There is a toilet and shower in a maintenance shed, basic but it works. I was able to get 10 amp power from the house so 15 amp adapter needed to plug into camper. Paul was very welcoming. He invited us up to his bush bar for a drink and showed us how to make coffee in the machine there. He helped again when I needed a socket wrench to get the spare tyre off the back of my camper. We hope to return again and get a flatter site next time. This was our first use of hipcamp. Probably like a lot of hipcamp places, it is quirky but this one is peaceful, has bird and animal life and has a friendly owner who will make you very welcome.

Very beautiful views nice quite spot. Only things that spoilt it was the neighbour talking very loudly on there phone. And whilst have an arvo nap a lawnmower nearby.
Bit windy for a winter camp.
But very friendly helpful hosts.

This was our first experience using hipcamp and the hosts of this property were awesome. I believe they would literally give you the shirts of their back to help you. The property is set in a country residential setting with plenty of space and basic amenities. Which is what we were after. The view was fantastic especially as it is elevated and makes a pleasant evening sitting in front of your fire pit. It was just what we needed to experience.

The location is great and the views were suburb however there were issues with the hosts.
After we had set up and made the place our own the hosts walked into our space uninvited.
The next morning we were deliberately woken up by the hosts to ask a very silly question.
If you want a night away from everything, this wouldn’t be recommended.
If you want a place to just stay the night while on travels, this might work for you.

Great camp spot with friendly and accomdating owners in a quiet area which invites to relaxing walks.
Great fire place with nice view over a lake and distant mountain range.
