Allambie’s Camp
Loved it here, had the place to ourselves. Wes was great to chat to and very friendly. We would have stayed longer if we were not having to make our way back to WA. Highly recommend.

Awesome campground, so peaceful it feels like you are in the middle of nowhere ,camping alone along the river, plenty of room, heaps of firewood 🪵, great fire pit to sit relax and enjoy the evening sky.

A great secure and private spot next to the billabong, perfect for its proximity to Bourke. Easy access and clear communication from the owner! Will definitely stay there again!

Lovely large flat sites on a billabong. The hosts were great and gave us easy clear directions to get there. There are a few sites but they are well spread out. Lots of wood lying about for fire. Highly recommend!

This is a beautiful place to stay and for us was a great experience. Allambie's campsite's are very generous and spaced well apart. If you are looking for peace and quiet camped next to a billabong with abundant bird life this is for you. Booking was easy and host's very helpful.

Beautiful, clean and spaced out campsite along the river. Fire pits were set up too. We booked very late in the day but got a reply very quickly, we were also greeted by Tegan by our campsite when we arrived.

This was a great find only a few minutes from Bourke. You felt like you were in the middle of know where. The sites were well marked and spaced. Communication was fantastic.

Hard to find.. Sign was tiny we went past.. had to ring for directions.. Found eventually.. nice spot on the billabong…

What a great little camp area right by the river. Quiet and secure with lovely owners. Tegan came down each night to say hello and have a chat. Best place we have stayed so far. Highly recommended. Tony and Michelle Curran

Perfect location on the Billabong. Private and safe. We stayed only one night but could have stayed a few due to the exceptional experience

Quiet bush setting next to the Billabong and opportunity for a warm fire and camp oven dinner. Perfect for us and highly recommend if you are self contained. Host very friendly.
