We had a wonderful stay and Louise’s place. Beautiful and quiet setting. Very convenient to get to Anna Bay which is stunning and the amenities were great! We’ll be back

Close to Anna Bay and surrounds with local tourist destinations within a couple of kms.
Level campsite with amenities super clean and well maintained. Hosts are friendly, helpful, and very communicative.

We enjoyed this quiet stay at Abstobys Retreat.
Louise has put in the extra effort with the toilet, shower, camp kitchen and a great place to fish.
We will definitely stay again when visiting our family. ☺️

Nice and peaceful campsite. Louise was very welcoming and greeted us upon arrival. Not too far of a drive from Nelson Bay and Shoal Bay. Clean toilet and warm shower was a bonus!

Well it’s was quite peaceful and a lovely spot, the amenities were a bit rustic but clean, my problem was the bindi’s, so many of them and hard on our dog, but you had to wear footwear as soon as stepping out of the van…..but otherwise a great stay, we were able to scrounge some timber for a fire each night which we absolutely loved,,,,

Our stay at Abotsbys Farm Belle tent was great. All very clean and organised and the bed was comfy too. The camping toilet behind the tent worked well and was very private. On a pretty piece of land. Close to everything in Port Stephens. Easy camping!

Louise was an amazing host, I basically live off grid but it was lovely to have a hot showers and a beautiful kitchenette with hot shower and everything attached, electricity (if needed) and Wi-Fi. I've been living upgrade for a while and it was really nice to stop in here for a few days I will definitely be back

Great experience, the facilities were clean and well-maintained, with all the amenities you’d need for a comfortable stay. It’s in a fantastic location, perfect for exploring the nearby bays and beaches, which are all just a short drive away. A peaceful spot with plenty to see and do in the area. Would definitely stay again!

A beautiful little camp. So relax. They have a bathroom and hot shower. Louise welcome us just like a family’s member. It was nice to have a roof with electricity. Lovely place !

Such a nice Hipcamp! Louise met us on arrival and gave us a tour of the area, helping us choose where to park up. The space is really nice, it’s got a bathroom with a hot shower, small kitchen facilities and a sink for washing up, what more could you need!! We woke up to ducks and kookaburra’s next to the car which was nice. Would highly recommend this this hipcamp

We spent a weekend in Bob’s Farm at Louise’s property. The property is very well maintained with very clean amenities (toilet & shower) with an open kitchen, wash up and dining area. The property allows for privacy and space between each camp site and the ability to have a fire and loan of fire pits is a bonus. Louise was a great host, allowing campers to leave our rubbish, recycling and coals in their designated bins, something not a lot hosts allow.

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay. We stayed in our campervan in a grassy spot near the tidal waterway. Had shade and sun which was perfect for us for our solar. Such a tranquil stay, could have a fire, enjoy a bbq and a glass of red overlooking the water, perfect. Also dog friendly. It was very relaxing. Louise was a great host, booking easy, and Louise very helpful. There is a toilet and shower in you’re not self sufficient. Also a fire pit area with power. usb ports, kettle and microwave. If you want relaxing break away and not far from local attractions like Oakvale Farm and Nelson Bay, give a try

We were the only ones here which made our stay extremely peaceful & quiet which we loved.
It’s an unusual area with lots of mangroves, a very high & low tide although we were surprised that there were very few mosquitoes
We did not explore the local area but were happy to have downtime. Was just lovely to be able to have a campfire 🔥 The facilities are handy & unexpected for a Hipcamp
Awesome but rustic shower & toilet room
Our little dog found the bindis difficult to walk on but we enjoyed the time out immensely
Didn’t get to meet Louise unfortunately but her son was very helpful & doing a good job in Mum’s absence

Great little campsite that is in a superb location near to Stockton Beach, Anna Bay, Nelson Bay, Port Stephens and Newcastle. Very peaceful, with nice clean toilet and shower facilities. Just off a minor road but very little traffic noise. So much to do from here so would definitely camp here again if we wanted to be in this area.

Although the area had been hit with some very heavy rain in the days leading up to our stay, we managed to find a dry-ish patch of land to set up our swag next to the creek. The property was very peaceful and we really enjoyed our overnight stay. The shed bathroom facilities were basic but awesome. The flushing toilet and hot shower after a day of travelling were welcomed. We would definitely stay here again.

My friend and I had a very good time. Location is very close to Anna Bay and the 4wd access. Facilities are very well maintained, nice and quite at night. I'll certainly be back!

We booked Louise’s place to do some filming and content creation over three days. Louise was very accomodating and helpful to make us feel at home. Sunsets are amazing, lovely fireplace, hot shower - what else can you ask for? Thank you!

So beautiful and peaceful, lots of ducks and kookaburras and amazing views of sunrise and sunset along the river
This camp spot also has a power-board to charge technology which was great, and a kettle and a dishwashing area!! Super helpful for lowkey camper like myself
