Above Syd at Trigonometry point

We chose this site for its proximity to home and the view, and to be fair, it delivers on that front. The eastward outlook is genuinely 5-star. Unfortunately, that’s where the positives end. Directly behind the site is a busy road with an endless stream of traffic, including trucks and loud motorbikes that continued throughout the night. The listing describes the location as “tranquil,” but in reality, it’s noisy and completely undermines any expectation of a peaceful stay. There are two sites at this location positioned roughly 10 metres apart, so you shouldn’t expect to have the place to yourself. The site itself is in poor condition. It’s uneven, overgrown, and covered in cow dung, making it difficult to find any level area without stepping in it. If you’re thinking of inviting others to join you, you’ll struggle to find level, maintained, dung-free space. It felt unmaintained and not fit for our caravan…. bring a shovel and a strong stomach. The included firewood was minimal; just two small pieces, each smaller than my forearm, which is inadequate for even a one-night stay, let alone three. At $96.63 per night, this site falls well short of expectations.

Great spot. Panoramic views being so high up on the mountain were the best. Cows were no issue and were great company. Previous reviews mentioned grass was long but the cows didn’t stop eating all day so they were not long. Of course there was cow poo here and there which would be expected but caused no issue or any smell. Saw a family of kangaroos playing for hours down the hill. Weather was great and appreciated the nice breeze. Nights were surprisingly cool for summer but with lots of wood from trees kept us warm. We would have no issue returning as the tranquility was just what the Dr ordered. Thanks Anthony for sharing your little piece of tranquility.

Quiet spot with some quirks

Nice enough spot with a decent outlook on a clear day you can see the city if you walk to the right of the paddock and look out between the two trees. The site is open and fairly quiet. The cows come over for a quick look when you arrive, then wander off. Access is through a gate with a code lock, so you’ll need to call Anthony for the code before arriving. There’s also a sign on the fence saying “No Trespassing / Private Property,” which was a bit confusing at first. Firewood is listed as provided and there is plenty of dead wood around to collect. Overall, an okay spot if you know what to expect.

A nice area especially if like me busy cannot get too far Sydney, it is a calm place, having only two sites gave me the relax time. Anthonny was responsive and he's put a generous amount of firewood kept us warm for many hours. Like this place, I think I would probably go to the same place next time. Thank you!

We arrived at camp Friday night. Sign at the front of the gate doesn’t inspire confidence that you have the right spot as it says “Keep Out, No Trespass, No entry.” Short track from the road to the campsite. When we arrived the camp Site was full of cows, and an enormous amount of old and fresh cow dung was all throughout the campsite. Couldn’t walk a few steps without stepping or side stepping cow dung. Campsite is overgrown and not mowed. Campsite is very close to the road so expect to hear cars and trucks. This was not the camp experience for us so we left and did not stay. Messaged the host via Hipcamp to say we were not staying and two days later still no response or acknowledgment form the host. Was a waste of $200

Location great, 30mins to Penrith, 1hr 15 to blue mountains, no cows on property currently so no cow pats as mentioned by previous campers but grass is knee high as a result, Anthony was kind enough to bring us up some more firewood

A great spot for camping with dogs!

What a cracking spot!!! The view is to die for, it was a pleasure staying, we had an amazing time, especially with the dogs being able to run freely at the site. Anthony was a wonderful host. Very accommodating and was all to happy to help us if needed. I couldn’t recommend Anthony and this site enough. We will definitely keep it in mind for our next trip away!

We camped here on New Year’s Eve it was a brilliant view of Sydney we were able to see firework displays across the entire horizon all the way from Penrith to the city was incredible! The site itself was great with incredible views and we would definitely come back!

Very tranquil. Lots of space to walk around and for the dog and kids to run. Beautiful views, yet disappointed that there were no cows, as shown in the photos. The kids and I were really excited to stay on a property with cows present, but it looks like they've been gone a long time. This should be mentioned.

Had a great stay. If your dogs aren’t good with livestock don’t bring them. The cows are very friendly and luckily our five dogs have been around cows heaps. Will definitely be back.

Lovely view but grass was overgrown and cow pats everywhere. For the price I would expect the camp site to be well kept. The road was quite noisy at night even inside a caravan but the view made up for it.

The farm wasn’t look like what you see in the photos. 1. Tall over grown lawns entire farm. We couldn’t even walk out there because of that. 2. Cow pats was every where like every two meters. 3. surprisingly there was no cow there in that two days we stayed there which was very disappointing. 4. I messaged Anthony couple of times but he never responded. 5. The road is very close to the farm and you hear many loud cars 6. Way overpriced for what you get( the only thing you get is a fire pit ) Overall I do not recommend this farm.

Exceptional Views!

Our 3 night stay was superb. There is no photograph that can accurately convey how stunning the view is from this camp site, especially in the evenings as the city lights up. Clear views of the city and harbour bridge, which was made even better as our stay was during the vivid festival, so the bridge was lit with coloured lights. We even enjoyed a fireworks show on the Sunday night. Sunrise is also a sight to behold, with uninterrupted easterly views and a chorus of bellbirds from the gully below. The property has easy access to both camp sites from the main road, with a locked gate, so we felt confident to head out and explore the surrounding areas knowing that our belongings were safe. Both camp sites have fire pits and ample amounts of good quality wood was supplied by our host. This hip camp was a little more expensive than others we have visited in the past, and I can honestly say that after our first sunset and evening looking over the city lights, we we're in agreement that it was money well spent! They boys attended an event at Eastern Creek and I visited the Blue Mountains and it was convenient middle spot to access both, while still enjoying some off grid time. We also checked out Warragamba Dam and the surrounding towns, finding lots to see and explore. As mentioned the property has live stock, so simply bringing along a shovel will ensure you have a clean grassy area to set up camp. If you choose to stay here you will not be disappointed!

On arrival we found so many cow paddy’s we almost didn’t stay. After cleaning up our camp site for about half an hour it turned out to be a great weekend. The owner was great he chopped up and dropped us off enough firewood to keep us going all weekend. The views were amazing but I would not recommend staying here in summer I could only image the flys ( if only the little camp area was fenced off it would make all the difference)

Awesome little secret gem just an hour from Sydney would definitely recommend, awesome to see the cows come up so close, my kids had a blast, have to be self sufficient as there’s nothing around, but that’s definitely to complain about, will definitely come stay back here 👌🏽
