IMPORTANT: The camp is for self-contained campers only. You MUST have your own toilet, water and take all waste with you when you go. This is non-negotiable. The nearest dump point is in Coffs Harbour. PLEASE NOTE: The property lies on river frontage and is subject to flooding in heavy rain. Please check in with us 3 days prior to arrival to confirm conditions. In the case of flooding, a full refund will be issued, or an alternate campsite on higher ground may be available. The photos display pristine blue waters, which is what is so magical about this place. However after heavy rain, the water colour can change in appearance. We are farmers, living the dream on 500 acres in beautiful Bellingen. Our farm is called Levenvale Farm. You will feel a million miles away, yet we are only 7mins into the town of Bellingen. We run an organic cattle property and have found a few spots around our farm to share with campers and glampers. Our campsites are "Beyond the Bridge" and "Old Flat Camp". Both are on cattle paddocks and have private access to Hydes Creek. Hydes Creek is a murky sandy base creek. There's lots of logs so its not recommend to jump in, but it's beautiful to cool off in the creek on a hot day. Both campsites have access to our compost toilet, and camping shower (gas hot water). If you prefer a bit more comfort or don't have your own camping gear, you can escape the hustle and enjoy being perched up on one of the highest points on the farm (with incredible views), in our Farm Huts. Both mHuts are furnished with beds and linen with limited power. Both gave private ensuite with compost toilet, gas hot water shower and basic kitchen. Book these Huts via our farm website. At all our campsites, we welcome you to have a small fire, and cook up a BBQ. Our Farm Shop is open 24/7 to self serve and grab some organic beef sausages or steaks. Think of The Good Life as a safe, private slice of bush that feels like the middle of nowhere, because it pretty much is. You’ll need to be fully self-contained and take everything you bring in back out with you. Leave only footprints and good memories. What you do with your time is entirely up to you. Park yourself in a camp chair with a book, wander the farm, or lace up your boots and explore around 70 acres of bush tracks. HIDING IN THE MIDDLE OF EVERYWHERE! Pure. Unadulterated. WILD. 104 very private acres, securely sandwiched between a National Park Nature Reserve and State Forest. On a dead end road. No agriculture or farms upstream, only one other like-minded property owner. Secluded, but hiding smack bang in the middle of everywhere! From vertiginous sandstone cliffs on which epipetrics cling tight, right through to palm-filled rainforests, and with two quite different creek systems (including a monster waterfall), you'll be spoiled for things to do and places to explore - without even leaving the property! HISTORY This land is Gumbaynggirr land. Please be particularly mindful of our First Nation's long presence on this land. In the 1800's, white men came seeking Red Cedar, closely followed by settlers having a go at dairying; though logging has remained this area's mainstay. This special property, despite last being selectively logged about 50 years ago, hosts many huge old-growth trees remaining steadfast for your discovery and wonder. And many more are continuing to grow out too. About 35 years ago about nine of this property's eastern-most 104 acres became part of a far larger nashi pear orchard which filled much of the flats of this top end of the valley that you see today. Ultimately they failed to set good commercial fruit, and the rootstocks took over. You can see remnant rows of these trees just south of the property, from along the road. (Beware though - they have spikes that could puncture Caterpillar tracks!) MORE RECENTLY extensive lantana control efforts have been undertaken as we now move into revegetating with native species and implementing a permaculture plan. Today the property is registered with Land For Wildlife and hosts a very wide mix of native vegetation communities. ACTIVITIES Bird watch. Climb. Abseil. Photograph wildflowers. Paint. Swim. In the next valley there's even gold to be found. Explore trails by mountain bike. Whale watch. Surf. Learn SCUBA. Go beach-combing. Catch a mudcrab. Go whitewater river rafting. Come and enjoy our private camping spots on the beautiful Nymboida River, New South Wales. Check in is before 5pm no check-ins after 5pm Campers have direct access to the river which is great for swimming and paddling. Please note that this is a free flowing river and there are rapids and waterfalls in parts, so care must be taken in parts. The campsites do require a 4WD to be accessed and are not suitable for larger caravans. Small of road vans and camper trailers are fine. Pets are welcome but we are a working cattle property, so if your dog is going to chase cattle it's probably not a great fit. There is a lot to do in the area, including bushwalking, chasing waterfalls, local markets, restaurants, wineries and galleries. 20 minutes from Dorrigo and 50 minutes from Bellingen. Quiet, peaceful, relaxing. Great camp site on a level piece of ground and if you get here early enough you will get the choice of 6 delightful camp sites all located next to the creek. We set up our hammock between 2 trees and just relaxed We loved it so much we booked for an extra 4 nights, just to relaxing to go home

We love our stay at the Oasis of Hope, the property is perfectly maintained, beautiful views, a lots of nice spot for swimming, the water was crystal clear in the creek, the camp site was very good size. The amenities was great, shower, toilets, family friendly. We had a super relaxing 3 nights there, done a lots of bike riding, racquet sports, card games, and swimming etc, we just love the peaceful and tranquillity of the surroundings. We went to the Coramba Hotel for lunch on Sunday, it was great, only a very short drive, but have great food, even have a live band there that afternoon, it was so lovely. We will definitely come back again to stay. Thank you so much Lars for providing great service and top job for keeping the property so beautiful. Shar

Our 4 night stay was absolutely wonderful. There was plenty of room for all campers to stretch out comfortably, even though it was fairly busy for the Aust day long weekend. The grounds were immaculately kept with well mowed large grass areas that thankfully did not have any prickles or bindies, so our dog had a lovely time too. The creek was a cool blessing on the hot days, very clear and refreshing water to enjoy. We didn't attempt the trek to the waterfall as being older and unfit, we knew it was unrealistic for us to even try, however we don't feel we missed out on anything as the surrounds were beautiful and made our stay very peaceful and natural. Having access to well maintained amenties was an extra bonus. Thank you Lars for opening your gorgeous Oasis for others to enjoy! 😊

A super lovely spot and a beautiful part of the world, the natural forest around the site is really a very special and incredible thing… the site was easy to get to get to and the road was bitumen all the way though there is two spots where a creek could rise. If there has been a lot of rain . The campsite was lovely and grassy and the facilities were terrific… We camped in the first small campsite which was a lot quieter than the busier part further down the track but that was also a lovely place for people to stay to… Totally recommend :)

We loved camping at Rod's place. A lovely drive to get there, peaceful surroundings lots of wildlife. Grassy patches to set up camp and large fire pit provided. Close drive to Scouts Falls and the beaches. We were able to take a hike on Rod's property to get to some waterfalls and enjoy swimming in the waterholes. Highly recommend.

Absolutely incredible and magical part of NSW that we were lucky enough to experience. The camp sites are very well set out and meticulously maintained. The experiences and extras Rod offers are well thought of and planned. Rod's knowledge of the land and and his attention to detail in maintaining this magical place is just incredible. The waterfalls are breathtakingly beautiful and we were lucky enough to have it all to ourselves. If I could give a 100 star rating, I would. Thank you Rod for having us! We will definitely be back.
