Romantic camping near Portland

What a beautiful property! Jim certainly tends to the land and makes sure his guests have what they need. We just stayed one night driving through. He pointed us in the direction of a place on the creek we could swim. I absolutely recommend Jim’s place!

The cabin was simple and had everything we needed. Definitely need to know how to be self sufficient for food, camping style, but that's not a downside. Beautiful land with a lovely old doggie and four sheep

The cabin is so cozy and the private outdoor space is so relaxing. We had an amazing time here and will definitely go again!

4 nights at GeerCrest Farm

Beautiful location, friendly host, easy to get to, and clean amenities. Would highly recommend!

The farm is a quiet place with lots of interesting history. The host was kind and friendly. The cabin stayed cool; it was tidy and had a pleasant porch to sit on.

Very nice layout of the property, beautifully maintained facilities, and really well thought-out amenities. We enjoyed playing at the creek, exploring the forest trails and spending time with the goats and pig. The hosts are very friendly and accommodating. The camping sites are large with a picnic table, fire pit (although expect a burn ban during the summer months), hammock and several flat and clear tent sites. Neighboring sites are within earshot but it still felt fairly private. It's a gem!

Nature camp was perfect! We loved the visiting animals and the outdoor tub/shower was amazing. The area is also full of great outdoor activities. Thanks :)

3 nights at Nature Camp, Cabin and Farm

Great spot! Very peaceful and quiet. Can’t wait to come back with my family.

We booked both site 7 and 3 for a big group trip, but we had a few people drop out last minute, so we mostly ended up mainly using only site 3. However site 7 was also really nice. It was shaded and although it was smaller than site 3, it still had plenty of space that would have fit two big tents and two cars easily. We would definitely come back and consider either site 7 or 3 to come back to. The composting toilet and small creek made it a very pleasant stay.

The farm was a beautiful setting to camp at and there were convenient and thoughtful amenities.

The property was beautiful and the accommodations were amazing! You feel like you are far away from everything but are only a 10 minute drive from town. Jim is friendly and helpful.

Fabulous farm with pond and scenic sunsets. Jim is an outstanding host and the sheep are extremely friendly.

The kids loved the treehouse, the sheep was very friendly. Jim was a great host!!!

2 nights at GeerCrest Farm

Jim’s camp was hands down one of the best camps my family has stayed in (and I travel with 2 teenagers!!). Jim came out to welcome us soon after arrival and was so kind, a truly a wonderful host! He even helped us with firewood. His property is BEAUTIFUL and extremely well cared for - there were personalized touches throughout. We walked the property in awe (truly) of the old trees, and all the natural “amenities”. We took some breathtaking photos of the sunset. I LOVED collecting a few fresh herbs from the “Food Forest” for my pie iron pizza! We tent camp and slept like babies in the serene setting, under the Heritage Grove trees of Jim’s farm. I’d book this stay again any day (and so would my husband and the kids!)
