Our 43-hectare property is on the edge of the Darling Scarp behind the historical Fairbridge Village. Only 1 hour south of Perth, so it is close enough for a quick weekend getaway but far enough to enjoy the silence of the bush.
There are elevated campsites with views west towards Mandurah and the Peel Estuary, northwest views toward Perth City, and three dams on the property.
Guests must be fully self-contained, as no toilets or showers are available. Just amazing views :)
Some locations are suitable for tents only, and some for caravans only. 4WD/AWDs are recommended as most sites are not easily accessible with a 2WD vehicle, especially during winter.
Dog friendly. Campfires are permitted in designated areas with the host's approval (depending on fire restrictions).

There are 3 dams close to where you’ll be camping and are not fenced off, so if you’re bringing the kids please be aware of this.
There is a strict - no driving around the property rule as there are other occupants on the property aswell as dry grass. And please by all means if you want to take a walk through the bush then that is absolutely allowed and encouraged, but please do so by using the fire break along the fence line for accessing the state forest and taking that Mundi biddi trail experience.
If the bush walk isn’t for you then laying back watching the kangaroos admiring the beautiful valley views and taking all the serenity of the Forrest in is another option.
These sites require full self contained vans with dumping points available in town. Power and wifi is also available for an additional $10 a per/day
There is bore water available at the camp site and although it’s clean and we use the same water- it is unfiltered.
There is also a small fire pit available but only for the cooler months.

Absolutely loved this Hipcamp! Plenty of space, nice grassed area, very easy to access, close to town but had that remote bush block vibe. Super peaceful and relaxing. Amazing bird life. Plenty of sunshine for solar. Beautiful family as hosts, very welcoming and friendly! Incredible camp for families with a cool kids playground. Thanks Alicia, we’ll be back!

As mature travellers, we appreciated this peaceful sanctuary amongst the trees and birds. We were in the area for the Perth Trail Series Chitty Chitty Run Run if anyone is looking for accommodation, we highly recommend. The site is peaceful, well equipped, and suited our needs perfectly. Mark is a wonderful host, very accommodating and kind. He has done wonderful job of cultivating this site which was recently opened prior to our arrival. Great spot with easy access to flat grassed area. Plenty of sun to keep the battery charged throughout the day and late afternoon shade with cool breeze. Few minutes drive to the Fwy in a quiet and secure area. Hosts are very friendly and helpful. Would definitely stay again.

We stayed in the powered site 1. We were very happy with the clean and tidy grounds and beautiful backdrop of trees, red dirt and wildflowers. The track behind our site was a beautiful walk with lots of kangaroos and birds to be seen. Camp host very friendly and welcoming. We will definately back, already recommended to our parents who have already booked :!

Excellent camp located between Mandurah and Rockingham. Site is 90% level with great maintained grass. Lovely kids play area if you have little ones and dogs were super welcoming. Lovely breeze can be felt with some trees to provide afternoon shade from the sun. Book for a few days cause this camp provides it all and once you are there you appreciate what it offers for the area.

What a great find. There's nothing worse than having to go to the city and staying in a pokey caravan park. This place is a quick train or an hour drive up the freeway to the city but when you're at the property you feel like you're hidden in the middle of nowhere.
The hosts are lovely and so are the dogs! Communication was great and the price is very reasonable.
There is play equipment if you have children and chickens!!
My only complaint is that I had to leave and return to reality! Highly recommend if you love off-grid, self contained camping. We will definitely be back.

Great spot, absolutely loved it, will definitely be back. Close to town, and close to Lane poole reserve, and you're not in the main caravan park at Dwellingup, surrounded by other vans. There is some road noise, but it did not bother my wife and me. We highly recommend this spot.

Beautiful spot to camp. We spent 2 nights in the caravan and was very peaceful. It is very close to the main road but don’t hear a lot of the noise. As others have said, it’s 10amp power. Would definitely stay again.

Great location close to Dwellingup and Lane Pool Reserve.
Take a 15 amp converter as there’s only a 10amp set up.
Take up the Wi-Fi offered if you like to stay in touch as there is no signal at all.
Lovely location but you’re on the main Pinjarra-Williams road so expect truck noise overnight.
