We consider children to be 17 and under, if booking with teens, please list them in the 'children' section of the booking form. Quiet location on acreage in rural Baldivis (within the Perth metro area). We love our little tranquil piece of paradise... our little freedom farm, with it's beautiful natural spaces and menagerie of animals, yet close to lots of local amenities in Baldivis / Rockingham. We're just a 15min drive to the beach and 30mins to Perth city or Mandurah. We can only accommodate a small number of campers, or groups of campers, at any given time.. so you have space, solitude and security for your family/group. You MUST be fully self contained WITH your OWN TOILET. There is NO power available. Clear bore water for small tank fills can be arranged during your stay. NOTE: we do NOT have mains water and constant tap access is not available. Water refills need to be requested and you may need to wait several hours. Sites are in open paddocks with some limited shade available. Dogs are allowed ONLY if kept on lead at all times. Sites 1 and 2: Suitable for small/med vans, motorhomes, camper trailers and MINI-buses. Could fit 3 families if you're with a group. Private site for your family/group only. Same day bookings are available BUT only BEFORE 3pm... AND you must call/text as soon as you've booked to let me know. WEEKLY DISCOUNT - staying a week? Pay 6 and stay 7. This is not currently available on hipcamp, but if you'd like to stay a week, please just book for 6nights and then send me a message saying you'd like to stay the free 7th night. Important NOTE: This is a WORKING hobby farm and equine property. There are tyres and poles. sand piles, fencing projects underway, etc etc. There are also many free roaming animals - my dog, our chooks, sheep and alpaca.. along with the usually contained horses. If you are looking for manicured, super flat areas or have a fear of animals - this is NOT the place for you. There are also a HUGE number of factors that can affect your stay that I have ZERO control over... The seasons change a lot of things throughout the course of the year: we have snakes (like ALL Aussie bush places) for most of the year, according to their seasons, varying growth stages of grasses (long, short, brown, green and sometimes grass seeds/prickles.. along with some crazy weather (high winds, high temps, storms) on occassion - NONE of which I have any control over.. so if you are a moaning myrtle and any of those things are likely to bother you, please don't come to our property... If you accept that you are staying on a working hobby farm / equine property and that I have no control over nature - then welcome, there is much beauty here for those who have the eyes to see - and as a base to explore the Perth area, we have a pretty convenient spot :)

Jacaranda Hill Farm

16 sites · RVs, Tents108 acres · WA
We are closed from 1 Dec through to 31 March due to High Fire Risk. Our 43-hectare property is on the edge of the Darling Scarp behind the historical Fairbridge Village. Only 1 hour south of Perth, so it is close enough for a quick weekend getaway but far enough to enjoy the silence of the bush. There are elevated campsites with views west towards Mandurah and the Peel Estuary, northwest views toward Perth City, and three dams on the property. Guests must be fully self-contained, as no toilets or showers are available. Just amazing views :) Some locations are suitable for tents only, and some for caravans only. 4WD/AWDs are recommended as most sites are not easily accessible with a 2WD vehicle, especially during winter. Dog friendly. Campfires are permitted in designated areas with the host's approval (depending on fire restrictions). We are closed over the summer period due to increased fire risk.

Chittering Acres

16 sites · RVs, Tents700 acres · Chittering, WA
We live on a picturesque 700 acre property, high in the Darling Range an hour north of Perth. The property overlooks Lake Chittering with sweeping views to the horizon. The native bush here is typical of the Darling Ranges, featuring Jarrah, Marri, Wandoo, Xanthorea and Banksia. Fed by the mighty Brockman river, the pretty Chittering Lake is almost completely obscured by vegetation. The lake features lots of birdlife including swans, wood ducks, spoonbills and wedgetail eagles. The Chittering valley has much to offer including scenic walks and local cellar doors. The springtime is full of the region's wildflowers, and if you're visiting around October don't miss A Taste of Chittering, the food and wine festival showcasing local produce. We have a number of campsites on offer for your relaxing holiday.

100-Acre Woods

18 sites · RVs, Tents100 acres · Mandurah, WA
We are a hobby farm set on 100-acres on the North Dandalup scarp, with a few sheep. You will find kangaroos, echidnas, sometimes emus visiting our property. You can enjoy the great views into the horizon towards the Indian Ocean amidst the tall jarrah and gum trees. Campsites are set in the woodlands, some with views. It’s perfect for people seeking 'quiet' time away, but still near to amenities in the towns around here. You can take walks to experience forest therapy, have a campfire or canoe in the dams during wintertime. There is no power, water or toilet facilities so campers must be completely self-contained. You are expected to clear up and take all rubbish with you. Leave no trace. The terrain is rather hilly, hence a few sites are accessible only by 4WD (Sembawang and Changi). There are some sites that are still accessible with regular cars (Opera 1, 2 or 3; Tampines, Bedok). RVs and small caravans are welcomed. All vehicles have to stay on the paths, and not to make any tracks. During the summer fire season, fires are strictly prohibited! The fire ban commenced on 1 Oct 2023 (Shire of Murray). Dogs welcome (on leash).

Avonbrook Wheatbelt creekside camp

3 sites · RVs, Tents44 acres · West Toodyay, WA
Our family moved to Toodyay 3 years ago after spending 8 years in Kalgoorlie, we dreamt of space to keep animals and raise our children. Avonbrook is ideal with its yearlong Creek and rocky outcrops for our Dexter cattle and Boer goats. We hope to enjoy for many years to come. We have 2 campsites at the moment, site 1 is the smaller of them. There are unfortunately a few ants nests around so please be aware and pitch up anywhere around the site thats best, even on the paddock side if suits... thanks, Sarah PS the cows can be naughty and like to chew cords so keep the gate shut to resist temptation! Hope you enjoy your stay on our land. We appreciate it so much as an exchange of services and an amazing contribution towards raising our family thankyou Please no camp-fires during shire restricted periods of 1st Oct till 30 Apr thanks
