Lakeside Escape with Space for Caravans, Campers & Tents Located on the edge of the lake, our gorgeous lake house can accommodate a caravan or motorhome on a designated parking pad. There’s also plenty of room to pitch a tent or swag on flat, grassy areas. A huge deck provides the perfect spot to relax and soak up the sun. The lake house includes a small kitchenette and a separate toilet and shower. Bring a fishing rod to try your luck catching silver perch, or nets for yabbies — there are plenty! There’s an abundance of birdlife, including cockatoos, rosellas, king parrots, kookaburras, and tawny frogmouths. Kangaroos and echidnas often pay us a visit, too. A grassed area with a fire pit is situated a few metres from the lake house, and firewood is available for purchase. Well-behaved dogs are welcome but must be kept on a lead. A grassy dog enclosure is available for guests who wish to explore the area while leaving their pet in a safe space. If you would like to bring your pet, please add the pet fee which is listed as an Extra during the booking process. A wood-fired pizza oven, located in a separate undercover area, is available for use. Lovely bushwalks, motorbike, and horse tracks are located close to the property. World-class surf breaks are within a half-hour drive, with Bells Beach being the most iconic. Torquay is home to surf shops and eateries — Rip Curl, Billabong, Roxy, and Rojo are all within walking distance of each other. You’ll also find great local breweries such as Four Pines and Bells Beach Brewery. Torquay and Anglesea both have vibrant arts scenes — the Ashmore Arts hub is located in Torquay, and Anglesea is home to the Arts Shed. The Eagles Nest Gallery in Aireys Inlet also hosts exhibitions by local artists. Markets are held regularly on the foreshore in Torquay and Anglesea, and there’s a weekly Farmers Market in Torquay.

We loved the feeling of space and calm at Tinkadale Farm. Beautiful green grass stretched out all around us, with a picturesque backdrop of trees and mountains... a great place to relax and unwind. Couldn't resist a visit to the resident goats and their little kids in their own penned-off section of the property - very entertaining! But the unexpected highlight was watching a mother koala with a bubby on her back climb down a tree, sprint across the grass and climb up another tree just behind our van... Soooo special and cute!

What an amazing place to camp. We had the whole place to ourselves it was so peaceful and we had beautiful views of the orchards and damn. Very central to lots of great places. It was also great that we could have our dogs with us. Highly recommend!!

This is a beautiful property that has great views and there is so much room, even for the larger vans. Tara was an excellent host who communicated very well and was very obliging. So many great reviews already and all deservingly so! I booked for 3 days and stayed for 5 (subject to availability ) because it was such a lovely spot. You can enjoy your coffee while listening to bell birds and absolutely no other sounds.. great area and shops near by too. The hosts are lovely folk, definitely available if you need something, otherwise they’ll leave you to enjoy the serenity. Unless of course some idiot lights a fire in fire ban season, then you can expect a visit ! (So sorry about that once again!) I Can’t recommend this destination strongly enough. Don’t hesitate

Awesome camping spot. Lovely grass everywhere and surrounded by green hills. We love your time here, quiet and peaceful. Great bird life all around. The hosts were amazing, friendly and welcoming. We were sad to leave after 3 nights. Highly recommended.
