Pollys paddock is named after a beautiful palomino horse named Polly, who lived here as a loved member of our family into her early 40s.
Polly's Paddock is a quiet camping area on the Mornington Peninsula. We are a couples, mates , friends , camping (adults only), no children, for safety reasons with a dam close by.
Only 15 minutes from Mount Martha village and Mornington, restaurants, amazing wineries, weekend markets, cafes and golf courses.
We are 10 minutes from swimming beaches and 20 minutes from surf beaches.
This is a 5.5 acre block, consisting of the host’s residence, garden and parkland. Polly's Paddock is half of the block.
We offer 2 flat caravan or tent sites, both with drinking water , 1 with limited power , the other no power.
There is also a site with a glamping tent set in the garden.
The 6 metre round tent sleeps 2, with a queen size bed, linen provided.
It is carpeted, has a fridge, kettle and BBQ. Just pack your toothbrush, clothes, food and drinks.
All 3 sites have the use of a shared composting toilet.
For a refreshing experience there is an outdoor, open air hot shower overlooking the dam.
Close by is a spacious shelter/shed with tables, chairs and a rustic kitchen area with sink and heater.
Well behaved dogs are accepted on the caravan sites, but we ask that you please discuss with us prior to booking. Dogs are to be kept on a lead at all times, wild ducks and the properties own poultry wander here.
No dogs on the glamping tent site.
Campfires are allowed during the cooler months, left to the hosts discretion for safety reasons. We supply a fire pit. BYO wood.
No fires apart from in the fire pits provided are to be lit. Fires are to be extinguished before going to bed or leaving.

Up the driveway is private for the the glampers (not campers) only please.
There are two cabins and a yurt that share a unique dining/kitchen area paired with shared private toilet, outdoor shower and hot and cold bath under the stars for a very relaxing memorable time in nature should you not want to camp.
The cabins are converted shipping containers. Cabin 1 has a king bed, Cabin 2 has 2 double beds (bunk style) and a yurt (1 - 4 people). Shared facilities. Please do note the yurt does not have electricity however we supply portable flood lights to hang in trees and inside. Charging station in the toilet shed or kitchen. The yurt is approx 150 meters from the cabins. It has one super comfortable king and two single matresses. It's warm and so peaceful you will never want to leave. Mains water tap nearby.

Located on the edge of the picturesque town of Buln Buln postcode 3821 (not Moe) take in views of rolling green hills and heritage listed oak trees while the gentle cattle and sheep graze nearby paddocks.
We have access to power and river water on all three sites (not suitable for drinking) but no toilet so your vehicle must be fully self contained.
One site is a drive through concrete slab, the other two are grassed sites. The grassed sites are next to each other and the slab site is on the opposite site of the driveway.
There is a free public dump point available at Neerim South (a 10 minute drive north)
10 minutes drive to the larger township of Warragul.
Firewood and eggs from our happy free range hens can be provided for an additional fee. (Please note our hens are currently moulting so we have none available, so sorry!) Please only use the provided fire pits and no fires are allowed on total fire ban days.
There is no access to the main house or paddocks unless accompanied by the property host.
There is some traffic noise during the day but the nights are peaceful.
Dogs are welcome but please ensure that they remain on leads at all times.
Each site is limited to one vehicle and van or single campervan. Should you have a larger group and want to bring additional vehicles please book an additional site.

As subscribers we were keen to stay at JU and see first hand what they had done...it's a unique set-up for a hipcamp. Spacious enough for privacy but close enough to share a beer with the neighbours...the dog run is an excellent idea that follows their own pet travels...fire wood and eggs for sale. We stayed off grid at site 3 with no problems at all...and then there is the legend Bill...what a host...Loves a chat....Great place to base yourselves.....we will be back...

We had such a great stay here and would highly recommend it to anyone looking for a relaxing getaway. Jarrod and Linda were fantastic hosts - very friendly and even popped by to say hello and make sure everything was going well, which was a really nice touch.
The sites were clean, well maintained and the pricing was excellent especially considering power and water were included. It made the whole stay feel like great value.
The atmosphere was peaceful and perfect for unwinding. The kids absolutely loved the friendly cows and sheep, and being able to feed them was a real highlight.
There’s also a local town just a short drive away, making it super easy to grab supplies if needed.
We’d definitely come back again!

Perfect weekend away with the family to a close to home Hipcamp ! Shelly and Craig are awesome People , perfect hosts ! Views from our campsite were excellent, sunset was truely spectacular! Kiddos had fun getting up close to the horses and cattle ! Will be coming back again for sure !

Thank you Jarrod and Linda for making this spot available. We love when we don't have to spend a night in a caravan park and stay somewhere like this. The Eggs and Firewood option was a plus as was the power and water hook up. The concrete pad is the best option for a caravan.

We only slept there. Didn’t need power. Had show to see in Melbourne, free public transport in and back. Suited our needs. A lot of rubbish lying around and long term people staying there blocking the roadways making it hard to park the caravan. Very much, stiff shit I’m not moving to help.

We were on site 1 with a pretty view out over farm paddocks towards the green rolling hills. We ate breakfast to the sound of cows mooing and magpies carolling. A lovely setting and the site is level with a firm base.

Wide amazing views of sunset, with dam in foreground and mountains on horizon, in this private Hipcamp. Ducks on dam, beautiful horse over fence and friendly good natured dogs. View of mist over the water in the morning was also beautiful. Great for children who can see the farm animals. Our stay at this Hipcamp was truly special, thanks to Shelly and Craig. They are a friendly, welcoming couple and our chats with them added so much to our experience.

Quiet and peaceful spot, easy set up on flat site. We stayed 3 nights on power on site 1 overlooking the paddock and would recommend this spot. On the first day we met the owners father who gave us tips on the local area. Fresh eggs and firewood are available to purchase. About 1 hr drive to Wilson’s Prom, make sure you head there! It’s beautiful.
