Rainwater tank and outdoor sink. BBQ provided, but for the ultimate off-grid experience why not fire up the vintage wood fired cast iron stove. 30 picturesque acres in Gisborne with views to Mount Macedon. We are an animal rescue sanctuary and have rescued camels, horses, sheep, cows, donkeys, alpacas and chickens as well as dogs. Please note these are very friendly animals, the sheep are particularly friendly and curious. The sheep roam the property.
The property has two dams, it is well treed with large open parts and has a beautiful view to Mount Macedon. Kangaroos, possums and echidnas also live here.
You are welcome to walk the property and visit the farm animals during your stay (as long as you stay on the outside of paddocks/yards).
The rate includes a small tour of our farm sanctuary. If you would like a tour with professional photography please contact us for details.

As this is a rural area, mobile phone service may be limited. However, we provide free WiFi (which can be slow) and a landline for incoming and local calls to help you stay connected.

Fantastic hosts and beautiful property. We had such a great time building fires, cooking and watching out for the abundant wildlife, which included wombats, goats, kangaroos, sheep and a lovely cow who came down to the fence every morning. Highly recommend!

Michael was welcoming and attentive, and the location offered just the right mix of adventure and relaxation. It was a perfect way to unplug and reconnect—with nature and each other.
