I was greeted on arrival and shown the appropriate camping spots. Caretaker was super nice and friendly. The campsite has all the right amenities- fridge, toaster, kettle and microwave so it’s easy to organise your food. Also a pizza oven and barbecue. Owner came over with muffins on my first morning which was super nice. Chicken seemed to undo my tent pegs while I was away during the day. Overall great stay with lovely views.

We loved it here after 3 months on the west. Beautiful sunsets. The sheep had little lambs that were running around. The pig had 10 piglets running around. Vegie gardens we in abundance. We purchased some fresh meat from Guy before we left. We would stay again.

This is a great Hip-camp, highly recommend staying here. Great little lake, kayaks provided a paddle boat it was great fun and a walking track around the lake. We were only 15 min away from Cradle Mountain with the cost of the stay it was so worth it.

We loved staying at Old Macs farm, we were able to drive in and find any site we chose. We were able to secure a nice area with walking tracks, ponds, water available for the caravan if needed. It was nice and quiet and will be using this place to camp at again for sure!

We had a lovely overnight stay here. Went fishing & managed my PB which was fun. Scott was very accommodating easy to get on with and very helpful. Yes we will be back.

Weekend Trip to Badger's View Farmstay

We only booked last minute but Diana made sure we had everything we needed for a comfortable stay. She was kind enough to accomodate an early check in, so that we could make a nearby wedding on time. We didn’t get much time to ‘hang out’ at the property but it was obvious that there was a lot of care taken in making sure all guests have a memorable and lovely stay. We had a lovely chat to Diana on the way out and it was great to hear about all of the nearby mountain bike tracks and how they started the cabins (she even let me feed the cows)! I would highly recommend.

2 nights at Old Macs Farm Stay

We had a fabulous stay at Old Mac’s, so much that we extended our stay by another day for which Lucas was extremely accommodating. Large grassy sites with water available, Old Mac’s is a great base to explore Launceston and the surrounding areas. Great value for money!

Camping at old Mac’s met our needs for a 1 night stay close to Launceston. Toilets were clean but was a bit of a trek to get to (slight uphill) from the unpowered sites and only cold water for handwashing. Communication from Lucas was great.

Fabulous location, friendly owners, we originally booked for 2 nights but the kids had such a lovely time they wanted to stay for 2 more! We can’t wait for our next adventure to the farm!
