There is a wood fired hot tub beside the creek, which all campers have access to. Firewood is provided for the hot tub, you may buy wood on site for your individual campfires. If you are traveling in a group with multiple caravans, you will need to book multiple sites - but will still be able to camp close together although we dont allow big noisy, disruptive groups anymore! We had a lovely night at Tiana's shared with the cows and Alpacas. The sunset was spectacular. Sites 1-6 are gravelled and it was easy to back our 7.7m motorhome in and get a level spot. Site 6 has a little fire area with a wind break. Nice! The other sites are larger and on the other side of the hill, so I guess it deoends which way the wind is blowing which is the more sheltered side. Definately recommend this place.

This campsite had a fabulous view in all directions. We looked over the valley with mountains in the background and a beautiful sunset behind them. Behind us was a mini forest followed by gorgeous lavender fields in bloom—really picturesque. We were perched up high and it was very quiet, with the closest caravan neighbours a decent distance away for privacy. Great location for getting to Bridport, and such a good price—couldn’t believe how cheap it was!

Tiana’s place was perfect to explore all the surrounds. We day tripped to Derby one day and Bridport the next. Loved waking up to the beautiful views of the mountains. Incredible sunsets. Would definitely come back to stay here if we are in North East Tassie again. Beautiful place and beautiful owners.

We spent 5 glorious days at Duckbill general camp. Only noise was coming from the wildlife.
Pristine creek perfect for Platypus spotting. We were entertained every morning and evening by the platypus. If you keep your camp quiet, the wildlife will come alive. Bert is an Awesome host. Invite him into your camp with a cuppa or coldie and he will share his knowledge on the surrounding wildlife. He has utmost respect and knowledge of wildlife and lots of stories to share

Beautiful views, either on Sunrise or sunset sides. Any site won't disappoint. Very quiet and peaceful. Bridestowe Lavender Farm right next door makes for great photos in flowering season over the fence but best to visit and walk amongst Lavender. Tiana and Simon great hosts.
