A small family run certified organic farm with a Pinot vineyard, views over piccadilly valley, and fruit orchard. Set behind the beautiful Mt Lofty Ranges in the Adelaide Hills and only 20 minutes from the city. Our farm has a Bernese Mountain Dog named Lotti, 6 ducks, 4 chooks, and a cat named Alfie. Surrounded on one side by National Park and the other by vineyards and plenty of wineries. The next township is just a few minutes away and has all the necessary needs (pharmacy, GP, pub, general store). Within 10 minutes you can rock climb or go swimming in a fresh waterhole. It’s a beautiful part of the world.

Nestled between the Adelaide Hills and the Barossa Valley, Humble Farm offers a picturesque country setting where you can pull up your caravan or pitch your tent. Set on 100 acres of open rolling hills with pockets of ancient gums and rocky outcrops, the property is alive with wildlife — think kangaroos, eagles, echidnas, hares, frogs, and butterflies. Camp alongside Saunders Creek (which flows in winter), in the shadow of historic ruins, and across from Humble Farm’s newly established orchard. Enjoy a large fire pit during the cooler months (strictly April to October). Humble Farm lies within an International Dark Sky Reserve, treating guests to some of the clearest views of the night sky and its constellations. Young children can enjoy the playground — complete with a sandpit and water pump, cubby house, swings, and monkey bars — just a short walk up the hill from the campsite. The main residence is over the hill on the opposite side of the property, ensuring privacy. Only one site is offered per night to maintain peace and serenity (if you’re traveling with others, enquire about multiple sites at a discounted rate). There is no toilet or shower block — public toilets are a 10-minute drive away if you don’t have your own setup. No potable water is available. As this is a working farm, dogs are welcome but must remain on a long lead. No motorbikes, please. Conveniently located just 10 minutes from Mount Pleasant (home of the Mount Pleasant Farmers’ Market) and 10 minutes from Springton (home of the historic Herbig Family Tree), Humble Farm is an ideal base for exploring. Spend an afternoon in the cafés of Lobethal or Woodside, sample the best of the Barossa high country at its many cellar doors, or venture to the Riverland — all within a 25-minute drive. If it’s tranquility you seek, set out on foot along the nearby Lavender Federation Trail or explore the backroads by bike and connect with the Kidman Trail.

We are on a small parcel of acreage along the Bremer river, we have 3 horses, pony and a mixed bunch of chickens. 🐓 Paddock with shelter available $25 per horse per night, 2kms up the hill is the Monarto woodlands great for trail riding. Welcome to our home Tanah Merdeka! Enjoy a private and picturesque camp-site by the creek with views of rolling hills, rocky outcrops and ancient gumtrees. Watch the Kangaroos and the birdlife, see if you can spot a yabbee or frog in the creek and sit back and unwind. Tanah Merdeka is a 184 acre cattle farm currently stocked with Black Baldies, Speckle Park, Angus and Hereford. The creek line paddocks are dedicated to Hipcampers, so you can be assured your campsite won't be interrupted by curious cows during your stay. We can't say the same for the wild kangaroos that call Tanah Merdeka home though. Please be respectful of the working nature of the property and shut any gates you go through except for the automatic gates. Please respect our privacy and don't venture up the driveway towards the house. You are welcome to walk through and explore the paddocks containing the creek line. Do not drive across the creek - walking and bicycles only. Please do not feed the wildlife or the cattle and practice leave no trace camping. For stays longer than one night campers must bring a portable chemical toilet. Use only the firepit provided and comply with current fire danger restrictions. Some firewood may be available next to the firepit but please bring your own firewood if intending to have a fire as this can't be guaranteed. Dogs are allowed off lead within the fenced camping paddock but be aware of grass seeds. Please be respectful of our neighbors and the property. Enjoy your stay!

1 night at Glen Elden Farm

Had such a nice overnight stay here amongst the vines! We caught a beautiful sunset and with only two sites (up the hill vs down the hill), it was special to stay somewhere more personal. Enjoyed meeting the horses too. Would stay again!
