Gooses Pond is a lovely peaceful camp in a large paddock with spectacular views. Sites were well spaced, so quite private. There was a flushing toilet as well as an undercover area to use. Firewood is available to purchase and host Billie-Jo was so helpful and friendly.

Peaceful, spacious scenic area not far from Lyndoch. Beautifully green this time of year, just the cows for company, and a few flies. We would definitely stay again.

Easy to access, beautiful large green space. Flushing toilet and a shared covered area if it is raining.
Plenty of space between other campers, and only a few minutes in to Lyndoch.great base for gravel riding.

My wife and I came for a night away and were amazed by the huge open space! Was great to be able to see the hills, watch the helicopters come and go and even say hello to the cows. Great to see there was a functional toilet to use as we were camping in our swag (I would recommend maybe a light for inside the toilets when it’s dark). Great little shelter provided that we were lucky enough to use for the night to keep out the sun, as we just had our swag set up. Pet friendly was a bonus for us- the dog loved being able to adventure around! We’ll be back for sure, this place is a hidden gem. Thanks Billie-Jo!

Wonderful weekend away on a very relaxing and peaceful property. The only sound we could hear were sheep and birds chirping. The site is relatively flat making setup a breeze. The firepit supplied was also great, definitely would love to return as it's an easy drive with our van.

This was my third trip to Gum gully and we had an absolute blast.
Rob & Jo were as always very welcoming to us all.
Highly recommend anyone looking to escape from.the city, get out to some lovely quiet with amazing hiking trails give them a shot :)

In all honesty, when I was first asked to leave a review, my initial thought was no — simply because the place is so good I didn’t want to share the secret with anyone else!
In all seriousness though, this spot is absolutely awesome. We had a camper van so we were well set up, but the location itself is what makes it so special — secluded, surrounded by lush green fields, with the most incredible backdrop of the hills. It was peaceful, relaxing, and honestly just sublime.
We didn’t know exactly what to expect, but it exceeded every expectation. There’s a little shed that provides shelter plus a toilet that was super clean and actually flushes (I was half-expecting a long drop, so this was a very pleasant surprise!). The host was so friendly and accommodating, which just added to the experience.
We’ll 100% be back — in droves next time! If I could offer one small suggestion, it would be to add some comfy seating in the sheltered area — maybe a couch or a few cushioned chairs. We brought our own fire pit and camp chairs, which worked perfectly, but a cozy seating setup would be a really nice bonus.
Either way, this place is an absolute gem. Thank you so much for having us — can’t wait to return!

We had a beautiful drive to the camp checking the historic buildings and canola fields on the way. We arrived to a great spot - open paddocks gave a sense of space. Rocky outcrops in the area had a Flinders Ranges feel and made for some nice hiking up the hill to see the views.
Highly recommend this for those looking for a getaway without having to drive far.
