There's a beautiful push bike ride from Riverton to Clare Valley and all the wineries are along the way. Plenty of room at the property for kids to ride their push bikes. Our property is located in the rocky outcrops of the Bremer Ranges and is on the Bremer River in Rockleigh. This site was once a overnight yard for the sheep farmers who were passing through the area. We have three separate locations for campers to choose from. The Gums- surrounded by small gum trees right near the Bremer River. The Carob- this site is situated further back from the river and is surrounded by mulberry trees. Lastly we have The Sticks- this site is behind the scrubby bushed and requires tight access and is more suited to tents and swags. The decent into camp is quite narrow and steep so please drive carefully. We are 45 minute drive from the Lavender Federation Trail which is a popular walking track in the region. We are only 30 minutes drive from Monarto Conservation Park which is a popular spot for walking trails and picnics. Monarto is also home to a Safari Park which is the largest Safari Park in Australia and home to lots of interesting animals. We have 2 toilets available but please BYO toilet paper. Sorry, no pets. The local taxi service is very accommodating and happy to come out to Seven Sisters. I believe they will also ferry you to wineries in the area. Seven Sisters is a hilly grassland with wooded areas, creeks and rocky outcrops to explore. Anywhere within our boundary fence is there for you to explore. Our sites on the property are easily accessed. 2 sites on our farm road with a 4th site set at the back of the property which is very secluded. All sites have seasonal fire pits. Set on 100 acres of open rolling hills with pockets of ancient gums and rocky outcrops, the property is alive with wildlife — think kangaroos, eagles, echidnas, hares, frogs, and butterflies. Camp alongside Saunders Creek (which flows in winter), in the shadow of historic ruins, and across from Humble Farm’s newly established orchard. Enjoy a large fire pit during the cooler months (strictly April to October). Humble Farm lies within an International Dark Sky Reserve, treating guests to some of the clearest views of the night sky and its constellations. Young children can enjoy the playground — complete with a sandpit and water pump, cubby house, swings, and monkey bars — just a short walk up the hill from the campsite. The main residence is over the hill on the opposite side of the property, ensuring privacy. Only one site is offered per night to maintain peace and serenity (if you’re traveling with others, enquire about multiple sites at a discounted rate). There is no toilet or shower block — public toilets are a 10-minute drive away if you don’t have your own setup. No potable water is available. As this is a working farm, dogs are welcome but must remain on a long lead. No motorbikes, please. Conveniently located just 10 minutes from Mount Pleasant (home of the Mount Pleasant Farmers’ Market) and 10 minutes from Springton (home of the historic Herbig Family Tree), Humble Farm is an ideal base for exploring. Spend an afternoon in the cafés of Lobethal or Woodside, sample the best of the Barossa high country at its many cellar doors, or venture to the Riverland — all within a 25-minute drive. If it’s tranquility you seek, set out on foot along the nearby Lavender Federation Trail or explore the backroads by bike and connect with the Kidman Trail.

Welcome to our home Tanah Merdeka! Enjoy a private and picturesque camp-site by the creek with views of rolling hills, rocky outcrops and ancient gumtrees. Watch the Kangaroos and the birdlife, see if you can spot a yabbee or frog in the creek and sit back and unwind. Tanah Merdeka is a 184 acre cattle farm currently stocked with Black Baldies, Speckle Park, Angus and Hereford. The creek line paddocks are dedicated to Hipcampers, so you can be assured your campsite won't be interrupted by curious cows during your stay. We can't say the same for the wild kangaroos that call Tanah Merdeka home though. Please be respectful of the working nature of the property and shut any gates you go through except for the automatic gates. Please respect our privacy and don't venture up the driveway towards the house. You are welcome to walk through and explore the paddocks containing the creek line. Do not drive across the creek - walking and bicycles only. Please do not feed the wildlife or the cattle and practice leave no trace camping. For stays longer than one night campers must bring a portable chemical toilet. Use only the firepit provided and comply with current fire danger restrictions. Some firewood may be available next to the firepit but please bring your own firewood if intending to have a fire as this can't be guaranteed. Dogs are allowed off lead within the fenced camping paddock but be aware of grass seeds. Please be respectful of our neighbors and the property. Enjoy your stay!

Lovely views from the hill line out to the west and south from SevenHill. Open space for multiple vehicles if needed. Easy to park up. Due to the exposed nature of the site, better for vans and hard shell camping, not ideal for tents if the weather turns.

We had the lovely secluded Moss Rock site which provided good protection from wind and was surrounded by beautiful trees. There were amazing views a short walk away along ridge line. Composting toilet was spotless. Communication with Chris, excellent.

Been to this spot twice and will definitely be back. For how close it is to Adelaide, makes a weekend away so convenient. The track to the site is fairly rough and does require a larger vehicle for it to be comfortable, but the river and surrounding areas are worth the bumpy journey.

Great quiet spot for our 19’6 caravan for a couple of nights. Steve the host was amazing and made us feel right at home. One of the best stays we’ve had on our lap and will be back again here next time we are around. This spot is a perfect central location for exploring the Adelaide Hills region. Only 2 spots makes this feel really private too.
