Our property is located in the rocky outcrops of the Bremer Ranges and is on the Bremer River in Rockleigh. This site was once a overnight yard for the sheep farmers who were passing through the area. We have three separate locations for campers to choose from. The Gums- surrounded by small gum trees right near the Bremer River. The Carob- this site is situated further back from the river and is surrounded by mulberry trees. Lastly we have The Sticks- this site is behind the scrubby bushed and requires tight access and is more suited to tents and swags. The decent into camp is quite narrow and steep so please drive carefully. We are 45 minute drive from the Lavender Federation Trail which is a popular walking track in the region. We are only 30 minutes drive from Monarto Conservation Park which is a popular spot for walking trails and picnics. Monarto is also home to a Safari Park which is the largest Safari Park in Australia and home to lots of interesting animals. We have a toilet available but please BYO toilet paper. From the 15th April fire are allowed. & portable firepits are available for your use Sorry, not pets.

Campsites are located on level grassy area. Flushing toilets, fire pit and firewood available. Perfect for a romantic getaway or for small and larger groups. Please note that our property has work dogs who live nearby and love to visit guests. When you arrive there is a map located on the right hand side of the driveway entrance with the sites marked. You are welcome to find your site get comfortable. We will welcome you at some stage! Please contact us if you'd like to book for more guests than listed and we will do our best to accommodate. Campground has shared facilities and respect of each other and the land is critical. We are a leave no trace site, which means everything you bring in you must take with you, which includes rubbish and broken things. The bins at the entrance are for residents only and as they are only collected fortnightly cannot cater for more than those who live here. Firewood can be brought in by you or we will provide wood for $30/night per site. Wood is not to be foraged from adjoining scrub as it is Heritage listed and to be left for habitat, ecosystem and your admiration only! We look forward to crossing paths! The property has its own private road so plenty of room for kids to ride their bikes, we have horses and cows that guests are welcome to feed over the fence. The town of milang has its own mini mart and cafe and on weekends the train museum is open for viewing. Must be self contained and leave no trace.

After an afternoon of wine tasting, drive 10 minutes to the beach and enjoy a sunset over the water. On a Saturday, you might find yourself at the Willunga Farmers Market (5 min drive) which runs each week from 8am to Midday and offers a variety of local goods and produce. You can set up camp and be sipping a wine or hot drink in the grove tranquility in less than an hour from most suburbs . Interstaters, this is 15 mins from Magill and about 40 mins to the CBD / small caravans ok . Bushwalk on the property or Rock climb at nearby Morialta falls / hike Cleland / Mt Lofty or use the Grove as a base to expore the nearby Heysen trail , the many bakeries , eateries , wineries, breweries and distilleries nearby . Visit historic Marble Hill residence on open days, or enjoy many of the many events the Adelaide hills has on offer. ( Medieval fair / Adelaide rally / SALA / bay to Birdwood / Anzac / country fairs to name a few ) Enjoy a complimentary box of Marble Hill Water on arrival ... Roast some chestnuts * over the campfire or gather some wild blackberries* , or mushrooms *. ( * in season ) . Pls Note Guests are provided a basis toilet / waste disposal area and your self contained outdoor showers are welcome . LPG bottles , some essential camp supplies ( inc marshmallows ) are available to purchase via eft once on site . Pet waste must be removed and any onsite rubbish must be placed in the roadside wheelie bin on departure .

We are located walking distance from lake alexandrina, we’re there are plenty of activities to do such as fishing, boating, and more. There is abundance of wildlife with our resident mob of kangaroos stoping by daily it’s a bird watchers paradise. This site is a 4 minute walk from the main house and is completely private. The property has its own private road so plenty of room for kids to ride their bikes, we have horses and cows that guests are welcome to feed over the fence. The town of milang has its own mini mart and cafe and on weekends the train museum is open for viewing. Must be self contained and leave no trace.

Along with local kangaroos, you'll likely spot our small flock of sheep in the paddock nearby or the neighbouring horses up the hill. Ask us about our small batch wine and take advantage of being in the heart of wine country - the nearest cellar door is only a 3 minute drive away! After an afternoon of wine tasting, drive 10 minutes to the beach and enjoy a sunset over the water. Tomorrow, choose your own adventure with more wining and dining, swimming and surfing, or walking one of McLaren Vale's stunning trails. On a Saturday, you might find yourself at the Willunga Farmers Market (5 min drive) which runs each week from 8am to Midday and offers a variety of local goods and produce. Wineries within a 10 minute drive include: - Battle of Bosworth Wines - Down the Rabbit Hole Wines - Fox Creek Wines - Ekhidna Wines - and many more! - Not to forget Swell Brewing Co., just 9 minutes away. Our favourite coffee places include: - Dawn Patrol Coffee (4 min drive) - Goodness Coffee Co. (8 min drive) - Someday Soon Co. (6 min drive) - many more in Willunga and Aldinga! Please note the following! - No shower or toilet facilities provided, campers must be self-sufficient. - Three drinking water taps are available for your convenience. - No pets. Campsites are located on level grassy area. Flushing toilets, fire pit and firewood available. Perfect for a romantic getaway or for small and larger groups. Please note that our property has work dogs who live nearby and love to visit guests. When you arrive there is a map located on the right hand side of the driveway entrance with the sites marked. You are welcome to find your site get comfortable. We will welcome you at some stage! Please contact us if you'd like to book for more guests than listed and we will do our best to accommodate. Campground has shared facilities and respect of each other and the land is critical. We are a leave no trace site, which means everything you bring in you must take with you, which includes rubbish and broken things. The bins at the entrance are for residents only and as they are only collected fortnightly cannot cater for more than those who live here. Firewood can be brought in by you or we will provide wood for $30/night per site. Wood is not to be foraged from adjoining scrub as it is Heritage listed and to be left for habitat, ecosystem and your admiration only! We look forward to crossing paths!
