Mypolonga is a small, diverse rural community (we won the Ag Town of the Year Award in 2022) between Murray Bridge and Mannum on the Murray River, with lots of birdlife. About 15 minutes up the road is Mannum Waterfalls - a beautiful place for enjoying nature, walking, climbing, and paddling in the rock pools. And, for interstate visitors, we are about an hour and a quarter from Victor Harbour, Adelaide, or the Barossa Valley. At Mypolonga Sunshine, I offer The Old Stone Dairy, a building that is over 100 years old and has been converted into a comfortable space to rest up for a night or several. It's not a luxury destination, but has a historic charm, and provides a farm-stay style experience. The property is 7 acres, and there are 3 horses, 2 dogs and 10 chooks also residing here. Dogs and other pets are welcome - you are even welcome to bring your own horse. We have a yard available for your horse, at a small additional cost per night (please add to booking via Extras).

We loved staying at this place. It was quite, peaceful, and comfortable. There is no activities at the property such as water skiing or kayaking, but you can bring your own to enjoy. The hosts are super friendly and helpful. We went to the nearby pub and get to know some locals. Overall, it was enjoyable stay.

The property is now used for cattle and sheep and crops and is about 1000 acres. The farmhouse is surrounded by huge pine trees and gums, and there is an easy access turn around driveway and plenty of parking. The property is only a short distance from Goolwa , Middleton and Victor Harbor. In the future the plans are to have a veggie garden for tenants to pick from and chickens and ducks and small animals to associate with. There are cattle with calves and sheep in the neighboring paddocks. We have invited for you to bring your dog along but at this stage they will have to be tethered at all times so they do not escape and interfere with stock. This is for their safety as well.
