Our prime location provides the perfect backdrop for your outdoor adventure. Escape the hustle and bustle of city life. Wake up to the sounds of nature, breathe fresh air, and take in stunning views of the pink lake.
Our facilities include two spacious high quality (5 metre diameter) bell tents with two king zip-apart beds inside each tent. Both tents are equipped with electrical power with bedside lights, a smoke alarm and a heater. Both tents also have a table, two chairs and luggage racks. One tent also has a fridge and microwave.
Adjacent the tents is a lockable, modern private bathroom facility with a hot shower, flushing toilet and hand-basin. Towels, shampoo and conditioner is supplied.
Adjacent the two tents is a larger kitchen tent with basic cooking facilities (electric frypan, toaster, kettle etc) and plenty of tables and chairs.
There is plenty of outdoor space to relax and an outdoor fire pit (for use outside fire-ban season) where you can enjoy a fire-side chat and roast marshmallows together as you gaze at the Milky Way.
Whether you book a single tent or two tents we guarantee exclusive use of the camping site so there is no sharing the site with other campers!

The Carriage ! Wow, views, views, and more views . Yes, it's simple but perfect, the decking looking out ,with a couch and table supplied is the most perfect place to relax , read, or just dream the day away! Set up a fly net inside with bedding (as bugs still can enter) for extra warmth, and coverage glamping not camping. The portaloo is another added camping luxury. This was my first solo trip and couldn't have had a better, safer experience, I will definitely be back and may even take the hubby..if he's lucky! 🤣🤣

What a treat!
Glamping with all the bells and whistles: comfy beds, shag pile carpet, ambient lighting, attention to luxurious detail, beautiful bathroom and an amazing bath house!... all overlooking a forest of gums.
You can just feel the love and creative thought poured into this space to make what was a truly memorable experience.

We loved The Carriage…Such a unique cute place to stay!
Billy-Jo was lovely and guided us up the hill & then left us to have privacy.
360 degree views of the lush hills, hidden away so you feel like you have them all to yourself. Relaxing, stunning, & so peaceful!
The shelter and addition of a little table & chairs, a fire-pit and a porta-loo made our camping really easy.
We went for a nice walk around the property and met the cows along the way.
Then we had dinner on the deck (we bought a small cooker with us) whilst watching the sun go down.
Then we had a little camp-fire with the red-gum we purchased prior, listening to the sounds of the farm.
We slept in our swag inside. It is fully enclosed, which was good because it was super windy.
Lyndoch is close by for coffee.

We loved camping at The Carriage at Billie-Jo’s Hipcamp. Billie was incredibly accommodating and made the entire process straightforward and stress free.
The site itself is stunning and scenic, offering breathtaking views of the rolling green hills of Lyndoch. Its prime location is not only convenient being close to wineries and excellent day hikes but also enriched by delightful morning visits from the cows.
The facilities add to the overall charm. The ladies appreciated having a restroom right on site, and the old rail carriage provided a charming space that doubled as a day hangout and an ideal kitchen area.
We can’t recommend this spot enough and I can’t wait to return!
