When we purchased this property 37 years ago and built our unique home, it was denuded cattle land, and now we are surrounded by the most beautiful rainforest. We planted approximately 8000 trees.! We have 4 sites available all close to the river, and can provide water as well as access to our toilet. We are agile wallaby carers, with the rescued joeys being released back into the forest from here. After a day of kayaking or hiking or exploring the area we also offer a sunset massage (as available ) by a local masseuse who lives on the property. We have a secluded little spot on the Walsh River, on our 100 acre farm. We welcome self contained campers (caravans, motorhomes, camper trailers, tents etc), however also have accommodation available. Let us know if you would like to bring any toys (bikes, quads, buggies)! There are 2 options - book accommodation (bedroom, kitchen, lounge, air conditioning, tv, bathroom, laundry...) or book camping (use as much of the facilities as you like, apart from bedrooms - including power, kitchen, bathroom, laundry etc) There is a 5 room donga (range of queen, double and twin (bunks) rooms, as well as a queen+bunks caravan (could sleep a family of 4). There is also a kitchen/lounge donga, with dishwasher, microwave, and fridges. The bathroom donga has 2 showers and 3 toilets. Camping - power and water sites available, or just bush camp! (facilities still available to use) The site is located above the Walsh River - out of flood zone, so the water is generally a short walk away (maybe 100m). The river is very shady and kid friendly. A little spot of paradise right here on earth. I felt as though I were wandering the Amazon. Dead white sand, crystal clear water, cool and green, jungly trees reaching across the creek, a place to restore your soul. Jodie and her dog, Blue, were super friendly. Simply fantastic all round.

This place is truly your ultimate camping experience. The land where we camp is large enough for multiple caravans and level. Right in front of where you camp is the most magical fresh water creek. Plus your own private waterfall which is a short walk from your site. This place is truly so special and magical. Hubby and I have a rule that we never return to the same place twice. In 15 years of travelling around the world- this place is the only exception Jodie is so wonderful and welcoming. Please please please respect this place and leave no trace. Jodie thank you so much for allowing us to stay here. It really is one of a kind Oh my god! I forgot to mention the 2 most friendly and kind camp doggos that will come say hi and Blue will lead you to the waterfall like a little rainforest wizard guide haha

What a special little gem of a campsite .. our site had tap water and power , and plenty of room for our ute and camper trailer setup . Peaceful river with sandy bank is only 50 m down some steps. Kayaks, canoes and sun lounge are provided too . Judy and Don are great hosts and very welcoming onto their picturesque property ... not our first time here and we will be back again and again. VERY hard to beat !
