GLOWS Garden Centre Camp is set in a large field backing onto world heritage rainforest to the East/South and adjoining Garden Centre and Raw Materials Yard to the north. We have only opened 4 lovely grassy sites. Our Hipcamp opened September 2024 and only 200m away is a cafe at our Garden Centre for a great coffee 6 days a week! You will need to be self-sufficient however we do have a cold water shower and toilets available between 7am and 5pm in the adjoining Garden Centre. Also available is a large cold water washing machine (gold coin donation). We are located on Tully Mission Beach Road with the bike path between Wongaling Beach and Mission Beach running right past the front gates, so a quick ride into town and plenty of space to bring your boat! We your hosts, (Nancy and Shane) operate the adjoining Garden Centre and Raw Materials yard so there is always something happening and with vast local knowledge of what to do and where to go, we are only happy to help. Opened in September 2024 we have planted a tropical fruit forest plantation as well as citrus orchard and with our 50 beautiful free-range chooks (pets) you will have them wandering around freely, clucking away happily.

Flaggy Creek Caravan Camp is set on a private 260 acre rural property at the end of an unsealed road surrounded by the peace and serenity of state forest. A highlight is a beautiful permanent creek which meanders its way through the property for approximately 1 km and is habitat to platypus, turtles, an abundance of bird life with towering blue and rose gums. Take a dip on a hot day in one of several water holes including a large lagoon adjacent a mini waterfall surrounded by beautiful she-oaks. We have 4 available campsites, spread well apart (although visible) all with amazing views.. Maximum occupancy per campsite is 2 guests (of any age). All camp sites have their own fire pit (season permitting). We sell large crates of split firewood for $20 or you can collect your own from the property. Please do not bring firewood onto the property for biosecurity reasons. If you are traveling with friends and everyone wants to book a site with us we would be delighted to host you but please ensure that you set up your caravan/tent/swag individually at each site noting the maximum occupancy of 2 guests per site. You can purchase take away alcohol from The Tavern in the main shopping area. Woolworth supermarket, chemist, banks and bottles-shops are in Wongaling, about 10 a minute drive.

Amazing little spot next to Mission Beach! Nancy is an amazing host and really made us feel welcome. Site was very clean and well maintained. We loved seeing all of the little chickens running around! Definitely recommend it!

We have a 12.5m motorhome, trailer and 4X4 and our site (#2) has ample space for all plus much more. It's super quiet and relaxing here, yet only minutes drive into Mission Beach town. The owners are very friendly and have plenty of knowledge about the area and great things to do. We recommend this place and wouldn't hesitate to stay again.

Weekend Trip to Flaggy Creek Caravan/Camping
We stayed 2 nights in Camp 2 which offers a perfect veiw of the creek waterfall. We enjoyed the available sunlouges after a dip in the waterhole. Tim is a great host who can offer an amazing level of local information if required. He has a great balance between delivering information, assisting as required and respecting privacy. Any of the Camp sites have great offerings on this beautiful part of the world.

Nancy was a great host, with plenty of local knowledge. We had site 6 which was great for solar . All sites where green grass and surrounded by lovely tropical gardens. Access to water and a toilet. Would definitely recommend staying here.

We loved our stay at GLOWS! The sites were large, grassy and well maintained. The chickens and turkeys were a great novelty for the kids, and they loved looking for eggs, with Nancy’s help. Nancy and Shane were wonderful hosts! We would certainly stay again! There is even a cafe on site too!

Beautiful and peaceful campsite. Good location for a trip to the Tablelands. Saw plenty platypus and an eel in the creek just metres from our campervan. There were wallaby's hopping around. Direction to the location was clear, friendly welcome.
