We are 10km north of the town of Crows Nest on the Great Dividing Range. 50 minutes from Toowoomba and 2 hours from Brisbane. The hill on the property (Flat Top) is one of the highest points in the area at 700m altitude. From the hilltop, you can enjoy 360-degree views of the surrounding area, with views across the Esk Valley towards the Sunshine Coast and sunsets over the hills surrounding Crows Nest. There are 3 separate campsites on the hilltop, and another site further down the hill alongside the main driveway. It is very quiet and peaceful, yet only a 10-minute drive to Crows Nest. Weekend Trip to Moogerah Valley Homestead

Great spot on the lake. Very quiet and private but within a short drive to shops and cafes if you need them. Spectacular views and a charming old house. Well maintained garden with plenty of space and a fire pit. House was comfortable with a well equipped kitchen. We made the mistake of leaving the windows open as the sun set and then the house was full of insects (despite the fly screens), so once we knew to avoid that mistake the next night we had no dramas.

⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ We had an amazing stay! The tent was cozy and beautifully set up, with all the comforts we needed while still feeling close to nature. The farm was peaceful, the animals were a joy to see, and evenings by the firepit under the stars were unforgettable. Highly recommend for a relaxing getaway!

We had such a wonderful stay at this glamping site! It was the perfect little getaway for me, my partner, and our dog. The tent was beautifully set up with thoughtful touches that made it feel special. The bed was super comfortable, and we loved being able to sit on the bed and watch the storm come in over the dam. The property itself was peaceful and private, with plenty of space for our dog to explore safely, which was a huge plus. The hosts were easy to communicate with and provided some fresh produce. It felt like the best mix of camping and comfort—we got to enjoy the fresh air and starry nights but still had the luxuries of a proper bed, hot shower, and a few creature comforts. Would definitely recommend to couples (and dog owners!) looking for a relaxing escape. Also, when they say all you need to bring is an Esky with your food, that really is it! Everything is there. Amazing!

Beautiful spot! Has everything you need for a quiet getaway. Loved the fire pit and stargazing. Would definitely stay again.

Rustic camping at its finest ! Myself and my 3 boys had a blast at the shack. The place has everything you need to enjoy a good cook up over the fire pit. Billy coffee followed by baked bean jaffles. Very clean and no insects whatsoever. Denis even arranged a tour of the Cotton Ginery that was very interesting and to top it of a ride in the tractor. Rose was a great host and her chickens may now have anxiety after my boys chasing them. Such a great stay and both Rose and Denis are of the kindest of people. We will be back.

Weekend Trip to Runella

We loved our stay at the Shack! It provided a good inbetween from camping and cabining . Our favourite parts were getting cozy around the fire place! Thank you again to the lovely hosts(Rose ands Dennis) who were nice enough to show us around and let us feed the horses ! This is a perfect getaway to take a break from the city!

1 night at Runella

We visited runella and had one night stay. It was such a awesome place to escape from city chaos. Rose was very helful and she gave information about all the things. The shack had all the needed amneties. Bathrooms were very clean. Its inside shack.Bedrooms and kitchen were very neat and tidy. You can have hot shower using donkey. Firepit is close to shack and very convinient to use. Sunshine and sunset are breathtaking. Everything was well maintained. We will surely come back again. we recommend to visit runella once.

Weekend Trip to Runella

We stayed at the hut on Kent with our little dog, and it’s a nice quiet cozy cabin with an inside fireplace which was great on a nice cold winters night, plus it has a large firepit out the front for over the fire cooking, Rose and Denis were very friendly hosts and we highly recommend I stay at their property.
