Lots of bird life, 2 nosey horses and 2 "hard done by" dogs. We offer fully self-contained camping in Paddocks 2 & 3. Paddocks 4-7 have bathroom access. Paddock 8 offers powered sites with, bathroom access. All sites are for 2 adults and up to 3 or 4 children (depending on paddock booked). Each site is allocated 1 vehicle. An undercover, shared lounge with jug and toaster is available, but no camp kitchen. Well behaved dogs welcome. Above ground fire pits only. No generators pls. A great base to explore the area-Josephine Falls, Babinda Boulders, Babinda Kayaking, Etty Bay, Paronella Park, Cairns, The Tablelands, Innisfail. Handy Mirriwinni Post Office and General Store 2 minutes away. Just 10 minutes north of Tully and 15 minutes to the beautiful Mission Beach, we are close to the highway so traveler’s can rest and enjoy our views, this peaceful rainforest retreat is the perfect base for your next adventure. Camp sites are located around the dam and waterfall with views of the Tully mountains and Tully town with the mill stacks in the far distance. Come and enjoy our peaceful spot. It is a 5 minute drive to Alligators Nest which is the local swimming hole with crystal clear water but with no alligators, or try our local Feluga Pub for a coldie or a great pub meal a few minutes up the road. Or why not check out the great little town of Tully and that giant gumboot. So come breathe in the fresh air and wake up the sounds of our beautiful bush birds. Fire wood available for a small fee. Please take all rubbish with you on departure.

We have a peaceful spot right on the edge of our dam which is stocked with Barramundi, with fish feeding every afternoon. From here it's only minutes to the centre of Mareeba, 45 minutes to Cairns and only half an hour to Lake Tinaroo which is famous for its fishing with its monster Barra. We are also close to several national parks with sensational swimming holes. You can choose to set up camp facing the back of the block looking out into the bush for complete privacy and watch the kangaroos and wallabies, or you can set up overlooking the dam and looking up the block to the back of the house. We welcome self-contained campers who bring their own camping toilet/shower. There is access to drinking water and power. Our property is nestled in a quiet location except for the birdlife, backing onto bushland with a small creek on one side and a dam full of Barra and native fish on the other. There is a big level pad to set up on right on the edge of the dam. The campsite area is 2WD accessible and there's plenty of room for all types of camping vehicles. No pets please.

This is a very nice camp. Camp kitchen was one of the best I have seen, nice and big and cleans showers and toilets and of course the beautiful creek. They even supply paddle boards and tyres. Will definately return.

This was our second stay at Paradise Camps - it’s such a beautiful, relaxing place. One of the swimming holes was just a 2 minute walk from where we had set up - stunning! The water was a bit cold at first, but with the hot Cairns weather, it didn’t take long to get in!! Dee is a wonderful host and we can’t wait to visit again! Would highly recommend staying here

My family loved camping on Dee’s property. They keep the place well maintained. Toilets and showers are in mint condition and the camping grounds are well maintained too. Dee supplies heaps of cooking equipment and utensils from the local communal hut as well as swimming equipment. The fresh water creek is always flowing and the water temperature is perfect. We look forward to our next visit at Mirriwinni Paradise campsite. Thanks for having us Dee 🙏🏽

Thisvspace is great because you cannpark under trees which give good shade, very close to creek and comunal space as well as toilets. I loved this place everything about it, Rob and Dee very lovely accomodating and welcoming went out of there way to make us feel at home and they went out of their way to wish my mother happy birthday by putting up a sign, very attentive. The space is gorgeous good swimming spots and lush environment, ill definitely be returning for sure!

Dee put us on a nice flat, grassy, spot away from most other campers.. it was perfect! The creek is beautiful, crystal clear water and has spots deep enough to dip your entire body and spots shallow enough that our 2 toddlers could explore. Absolutely loved our stay, thanks Dee!

We stayed at site 4: The Views. Absolutely perfect with 2 little kids. They loved the horses being so close and it was an easy and relaxing sight for us. Sheree is so welcoming and gave us some great places to explore the area! I’m still amazed this is in her backyard!
