Our 1000 acres mountain top working cattle and horses farm is only 45 minutes from Brisbane CBD, and offers spectacular Glasshouse mountains and ocean views. You can bring your own self-contained camping set-up, be it a tent, caravan, or motorhome, or stay in our bunkhouse that sleeps 10. Activities on the property include hiking, swimming, canoeing, horse riding and more. From many parts of the farm you have beautiful views encompassing Maleny, Glasshouse Mountains, Bribie Island, Moreton Island, Stradbroke Island, Redcliffe, and Brisbane Port Site. We have a beautiful deepwater lake that's perfect for swimming and canoeing. The property is traversed by several rainforested creeks and ravines, which are perfect for adventure hiking and rock climbing. We can also take you horse riding around the farm for a couple of hours or to the local winery if you prefer a longer ride. We cater for all levels of riding. We have many panoramic campsites for you to choose from. These are suited to anyone with the swag, tent, camper, caravan, or motorhome. You must be self-sufficient, with your own toilet, and we kindly ask you take all waste when you go. For those who prefer the comforts of home we have a bunkhouse which sleeps 10 and has electricity, water, flush toilet, shower, stove, microwave and TV. Linen is not supplied. If you are driving 2wd, or 4wd towing a caravan or a big trailer and GPS takes you through Mountain View Rd - do not go that way - go through Dayboro Rd. For those without transport Dakabin train station is 25 min from the farm. Pick up and drop off to the station can be arranged. There is a wide variety of shops and restaurants less than 10 min away.

Our property is 4WD access. You are risking your booking and vehicle if you turn up in a 2WD or family SUV. See Extras for booking park and ride option if your vehicle is 2WD. UPDATE as of late July 2025 - the creek is dry.. Some of our tracks are rutted and may become slippery in wet weather. We do basic maintenance to keep access open for 4WDS. Be prepared to apply your 4WD skills. Kobble Creek West is accessible from several locations on our property boundary. Ideal for creek exploring and rock hopping. There’s even a small lagoon now awaiting. Check out the short hiking trails on our property (there are hike options suitable to your preferred difficulty). Bring your machete for an even greater hiking experience! You can relax by or in the spring fed dam, explore seasonal Kobble Creek, feed the chickens or goats, spot the abundant bird life, or sit patiently and a deer or fox may appear at dusk. Enjoy the evenings sitting around the campfire as you gaze at the stars. All sites have sufficient spacing from other sites to ensure acceptable privacy. You are welcome to enjoy our off-grid camping with the expectation that facilities are minimal. NOTE: Surcharges exist for a number of circumstances, including day visitors and single-night bookings. These can be found in the Extras and must be added at the time of booking for your request to be accepted. NOTE: Please also indicate that you are 4WD and your camping platform and size as you book. We have 10 horses agisted here and you'll also spot some chickens pecking around the place. Craig was very kind and helpful with getting me into the musings of Brisbane by Ferry. Water is there. Power for those who need it. It is a safe place and the highway can be heard at night, but not felt. So, when I need a place within Brisbane again, I believe this is an affordable Option for some days.

If you like big open spaces with amazing views and your own personal space, this is the location. We have made this one of our regular locations to visit when we want to relax and chill. We absolutely love having the horses join our camp on a regular basis, really makes for some memorable moments.

A very well maintained property with an abundance of places to set up as close to or as faraway from other campers as you wanted The property is a working horse and cattle farm so was very nice to have livestock walking around and being able to interact with them if you wanted.

Absolutely spectacular views of the glass house mountains and Moreton bay. Lovely green pastures and horses and cows come and meet you each afternoon. Not close to others so nice and private. Ground is undulating to steep (as you’d expect on a ridge) so bring plenty of levelling blocks. We’ll definitely be back!

The view was absolutely stunning. The horses were very friendly coming over for a pat. Make sure you read the recommendations on the hipcamp site on how to get there as we followed the GPS and ended up on a very steep hill climb with nowhere to turn around. Thanks to a quick chat with Viola and very good directions we made it and had a very enjoyable weekend.

Fantastic place to camp. Wide open spaces and no one is on-top of each other. Sensational views of the property and don’t be surprised if you get a visit from the horses and cows. There is a beautiful dam to swim in which was great also. Highly recommend and will be back.

When first looking at this place and its reviews, we wondered if we should try it out or pass. But I’m so glad we stayed here. Michael made us feel like old friends from the second we got to the gates. To drive down to the camp spots and see all his horses just roaming was absolutely amazing. We stayed right on the lagoon, plenty of room for our girls to play and also a shallow creek perfect to keep cool. We would absolutely stay here again 🤙🤙

Such a beautiful location with fantastic views! The horses just added that extra farm stay touch and made you feel like such a part of nature. We were unlucky enough to get caught in some big storms but the property was so well maintained it didnt affect us at all and no issues getting the caravan in and out. It was very windy though so don't make the same mistake we did by putting the awning out if the weather isn't 100%! Overall very private and relaxing location and only 10 minutes out from Dayborough. Will definitely be back.

Our campsite was perched on the top of the range with incredible views to the north & south. It was private and peaceful, the only sounds were from birdsong & the rustle of nature. We had a lovely swim in the dam which was clean & refreshing. We had a fantastic stay & look forward to returning. Thanks Viola!
