A real get away. 20 acres to yourself. 2 cleared acres for camping. Camp anywhere on property. I do recommend next to the concrete slab with full use of table and gas grill and barbecue, ready to go. Fire place all set as well, kids will love to go and search for the fire wood. Nature lovers will appreciate this pristine spot, surrounded by various species of trees and fauna. Wondul national park, short drive away. Easy access from main road. With Car or 4WD accessible. If you need it!! There is Telstra phone service. Millmeran town 20mins. Hipcamps will only let me book one site on this page, but there are several available. Message me for more details or to check availablity. Price is $240 for 2 nights, and includes camping from Wednesday to Monday regardless of how long you stay. Must be checked in Friday night because the road will be closed Saturday and Sunday until race finished. When booking – only book Friday and Saturday night, but you are welcome to arrive from Wednesday on. Price does not include ticket entry to the Sprints. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at Jeff & Kay's land. It was quiet and private from the road... a perfectly safe place to leave the van whilst we did activities in nearby Toowoomba, including visiting the carnival of flowers. We were the only ones there and really enjoyed the solitude.

Everything we needed was there. Nice place very relaxing. My dogs enjoyed themselves as long as you kept the gate closed from the dogs next door. Nice for the kids & plenty of room for your friends to camp.

1 night at Forest Lodge Highfields

We come across this Jeff & Kay’s Hipcamp by chance, as the Toowoomba Showgrounds was closed for maintenance and all the caravan parks in Toowoomba had no vacancy for a caravans. It was absolutely perfect for us! It was a nicely mowed area, super quiet and very close to our family who we were visiting on our stay. We will be definitely staying again in the future.

Rustic camping at its finest ! Myself and my 3 boys had a blast at the shack. The place has everything you need to enjoy a good cook up over the fire pit. Billy coffee followed by baked bean jaffles. Very clean and no insects whatsoever. Denis even arranged a tour of the Cotton Ginery that was very interesting and to top it of a ride in the tractor. Rose was a great host and her chickens may now have anxiety after my boys chasing them. Such a great stay and both Rose and Denis are of the kindest of people. We will be back.

We loved our stay at the Shack! It provided a good inbetween from camping and cabining . Our favourite parts were getting cozy around the fire place! Thank you again to the lovely hosts(Rose ands Dennis) who were nice enough to show us around and let us feed the horses ! This is a perfect getaway to take a break from the city!

We visited runella and had one night stay. It was such a awesome place to escape from city chaos. Rose was very helful and she gave information about all the things. The shack had all the needed amneties. Bathrooms were very clean. Its inside shack.Bedrooms and kitchen were very neat and tidy. You can have hot shower using donkey. Firepit is close to shack and very convinient to use. Sunshine and sunset are breathtaking. Everything was well maintained. We will surely come back again. we recommend to visit runella once.

We stayed at the hut on Kent with our little dog, and it’s a nice quiet cozy cabin with an inside fireplace which was great on a nice cold winters night, plus it has a large firepit out the front for over the fire cooking, Rose and Denis were very friendly hosts and we highly recommend I stay at their property.

We had an amazing time. The animals were so friendly and visits from the dogs Spud and Willow were loved by my son. Very private and immaculate. The cabin has every thing you need! We had a group with some of us in tents. There was plenty of room. The kids loved feeding and playing with the animals. The views was amazing!! We will be back
