We have NO road frontage so sites are private, quiet and safe and only 3ks off the New England Highway. All campers MUST bring their own Chemical toilet and shower facilities. A small rest room and shower is available in case of emergency only I run a working farm raising Sheep and Lambs, Chickens, Ducks, Horses, Donkeys, Vegies, Preserves and Jams. Farm produce is available on request and availability, eg Free range eggs , farm raised Lamb, locally sourced Bacon for the BBQ , and seasonal vegetables, jams and chutneys. Thanks to the Beautiful rain we have had recently, our large dam is full, providing a wonderful spot for swimming, paddling or just splashing about, the Dam has long sloping access so is great for families and dogs, PLEASE NOTE The Google Maps photo is way out of date, our Dam is full. For those who may be into Waterskiing or Fishing Leslie Dam is a 10 min drive away and offers fishing and water sports then come back to your quiet camp away from the crowds. We are 20 min South of Warwick, We are only 30 min from the Stanthorpe Wineries, Breweries fresh fruit and Vege, Cheese factory to name a few things to do. A little further along you will find Girraween National Park renowned for amazing walks. Warwick Hosts the Biggest and Best Campdraft and Rodeo on the last full week of October (Covid permitting) as well as the quirky Jumpers and Jazz festival in July. Steam Train Journeys , half or full days, We have an amazing motor sport venue which holds meet every weekend, cars bikes, vintage, minis, Porsche's, you name it they race it every weekend. As well as many Equestrian Events, you can spend the day out exploring and then you can come back to your beautiful campsite, that is if you have not decided to stay relaxing and swimming for the day in the quiet watching the sheep and horses pass bye to then watch the Sunset and wildlife then look at the amazing night sky. There are no people nearby and you will feel like you’re in the middle of nowhere (but are just 25mins from Toowoomba). We are a cattle property so you will see cows and calves and horses on your way to the camp sites. Because of this and bio security, there is no 4WDriving around the property but you are welcome to explore the creek area on foot. Plenty of wildlife to spot - wallabies, kangaroos, bird life and the occasional koala. In the creek there are some fish, yabbies and turtles. Set up camp, enjoy stunning sunsets, peace and quiet and the privacy of the secluded camp sites. Our location is perfect if you are first time campers or want to try out a new set up without venturing too far from home. 25mins drive will get you back to Toowoomba CBD. We are on black soil so our access road to the creek is dry weather only but is accessible by 2WD that have reasonable clearance. Because of this and bio security, there is no 4WDriving around the property but you are welcome to explore the creek area on foot. Plenty of wildlife to spot - wallabies, kangaroos, bird life and the occasional koala. In the creek there are some fish, yabbies and turtles. Set up camp, enjoy stunning sunsets, peace and quiet and the privacy of the secluded camp sites. Our location is perfect if you are first time campers or want to try out a new set up without venturing too far from home. 25mins drive will get you back to Toowoomba CBD. We are on black soil so our access road to the creek is dry weather only but is accessible by 2WD that have reasonable clearance. Our camping area is down on our creek where there are slashed camp sites suitable for groups of campers or just on your own. You have full use of a shelter complete with pot belly stove and a fire ring provided (byo firewood) You can do birdwatching, yabbying, swimming in the waterhole (seasonal) picnicking and general exploring around the creek area. There are no people nearby and you will feel like you’re in the middle of nowhere (but are just 25mins from Toowoomba). We are a cattle property so you will see cows and calves and horses on your way to the camp sites. Because of this and bio security, there is no 4WDriving around the property but you are welcome to explore the creek area on foot. Plenty of wildlife to spot - wallabies, kangaroos, bird life and the occasional koala. In the creek there are some fish, yabbies and turtles. Set up camp, enjoy stunning sunsets, peace and quiet and the privacy of the secluded camp sites. Our location is perfect if you are first time campers or want to try out a new set up without venturing too far from home. 25mins drive will get you back to Toowoomba CBD. We are on black soil so our access road to the creek is dry weather only but is accessible by 2WD that have reasonable clearance. Please check with us ahead of time if you have a large set up or are concerned about access. We are happy to help or answer any questions you may have.

Beautiful well kept grounds. Beautifully crafted amenities with old tin facades. Very clean and tidy. Lovely big barn set up for weddings but could be used for any celebrations. The farm fresh eggs great extra treat very yummy. Lovely outlook at the Knob with accommodation and the shower / bath hut was very nice would enjoy an amazing bubble bath for two. Gave Nick and idea for an open outdoor shower to take advantage of the view. Great selection of farm yard animals great toy kids too. Yvette & Nick great hosts definitely recommend Belauh Park

Beautiful place to stay, love the free roaming goats, wallabies, cows, sheep and emus. The river is full of tabbies and little shrimp and fish and lots of safe areas to let your kids go fishing. Water is deep enough to swim in, we even managed to get our kayaks in the water tho got stuck on rock in a few places.

A fantastic camp-site, perfect place to unplug the world in the aussie bush for a perfect time of peace and quiet, free from traffic noise, noisy barking dogs and everything else the city throws at you..and just under half an hour from toowoomba.. The amenities block is a perfect mix of rustic meets 5 star.with the indoor luxury bath and shower and the very rustic outdoor hot shower, the perfect spot to enjoy nature...both short and long walks on offer, each with its own rewarding views..the host was fantastic making sure your privacy is assured....loved my stay and could not recommend this any higher for people wanting privacy and seclusion....

What a great find! A beautiful peaceful camp on the green banks of the Bracker Creek on Lake Coolmunda. Birdlife a plenty along with kangaroos and emus. Each site is huge and comes with a fire pit with wood. You’ll need a chainsaw and axe to chop it up. Bonus is the quirky CC’s Cafe. Congratulations to the owners. I’ll certainly be staying here again and also recommend it to my caravanning friends.

Here at 'Waratan Park' in Oakey QLD, we offer a peaceful, animal friendly stay on our 120 acre property, away from the crowds, but close to town, and only a short drive to Toowoomba. CURRENTLY CLOSED. We are a small 107 acre farm on the Great Dividing Range, a 10 minute drive from Toowoomba. Hopetoun Hills is a tranquil place to relax with water ducks, kangaroos, wallabies and all sorts of birds including the wedge tail eagles that come back to nest every year! Sadly in the drier months, our dam may not be full and the grass not green! YOU MUST BE FULLY SELF CONTAINED. You MUST have TOILET (that you take with you when you leave), and SHOWERING facilities. If you do not have these then we are very sorry but we can not accommodate you, and if you do arrive and don't have these facilities we can't allow you to stay. This is a health issue for other campers, ourselves and our stock. Our property is not suitable for young children due to the creek, dam, electric fencing and stock. We welcome dogs, although they must be kept on a lead and/or contained for the courtesy of other guests, and we have livestock such as cattle, calves, horses, a donkey and a bull who don't take well to strange dogs. There are a few places you may choose to camp and the spacious room allows privacy if you wish to have early nights/early mornings and not be too close to others. We don't allow party groups/parties due to the courtesy of other campers and we do ask that you remember; this is a farm not a caravan park, there are cattle and horses. We can provide potable water for campers staying more than a few days, or travelling on the road. You will require appropriate water jerry cans/drums or we can fill your tanks up directly from the shed. In the warmer months you can sleep with windows, doors and hatch's open in the tranquil country setting. Your caravan is not visible from the road, or accessible without passing the main residence if you wish to tour around our beautiful town and outlying area's. We're less than a ten minute drive from Kmart / Coles / Woolworths, although when you're here you would never know! There is so much to see in and around Toowoomba and the Darling Down's, from coffee shops, mural walks, bike paths through the beautiful parks and much more. We don't accept check in's after dark, so if you are going to be late please contact us with the mobile number provided within 24 hours prior to check in.
