Great spot on the lake. Very quiet and private but within a short drive to shops and cafes if you need them. Spectacular views and a charming old house. Well maintained garden with plenty of space and a fire pit. House was comfortable with a well equipped kitchen. We made the mistake of leaving the windows open as the sun set and then the house was full of insects (despite the fly screens), so once we knew to avoid that mistake the next night we had no dramas.

We have a variety of campsites to choose from. . Camping is presently basic as we are building it up and is better suited for campers with fully equipped 4WD. Not all sites have toilets we ve now 3 toilets 1 bottom space 1 mid and 1 at top . Some campsites are more secluded than others, some have toilets some dont and of course great views. The kids will love toasting marshmallows around the campfire in the evenings. Sit back, relax and gaze at the stars. Pets welcome. The property is hilly and may be unsuitable for camper homes. No harming the wildlife, our wildlife is harmless if you do not provoke it or threaten it, Please use water wisely . There are dams and water holes and drains on the property as it is a working farm.

Moogerah Lakeside Bush Retreat is a small family owned and operated campground on the shores of Beautiful lake Moogerah in the heart of the Scenic Rim, SEQLD. We are conveniently located only 2km from the Cunningham Hwy and are set in a quiet bush location surrounded by the spectacular scenery of the Scenic Rim. There is never a shortage of things to do, you can take a canoe or boat out for a cruise on the lake or try your luck at some fishing. Moogerah is well known for its large Bass & Yellow belly. There is a good bushwalk at the property that takes you out to Striker point and into the gorge waterfall with spectacular views along the way. If you have a 4wd you can take a short drive up to Spicers Gap National Park. Here there is a short walk out to the Governors Chair lookout with spectacular views of the Fassifern Valley and beyond. We currently don't have a boat ramp however once you have launched your boat at the public boat ramp we have a nice bay in front of the campground where you can anchor your boat.

We have several peaceful campsites available on our off grid property near Crows Nest. Also a private glamping site with a 5m Bell Tent - with everything you need for a relaxing night away. We are 10km north of the town of Crows Nest on the Great Dividing Range. 50 minutes from Toowoomba and 2 hours from Brisbane. The hill on the property (Flat Top) is one of the highest points in the area at 700m altitude. From the hilltop, you can enjoy 360-degree views of the surrounding area, with views across the Esk Valley towards the Sunshine Coast and sunsets over the hills surrounding Crows Nest. There are 3 separate campsites on the hilltop, and another site further down the hill alongside the main driveway. It is very quiet and peaceful, yet only a 10-minute drive to Crows Nest.
