Plenty of fantastic swimming holes nearby including Josephine falls and Babinda boulders very popular spots for tourist and the locals. Site 1 right down on the creek large grass flat space big enough for two families to set up camp. The creek runs around the outside so there are a number of viewing points to see the wildlife mentioned above. A set of solar lights hang over the firepit area allowing for more light while cooking on our wonderful swinging hotplate BBQ. Site 2 Our newer spot work in progress not so ideal for camper trailers. your situated under our tree line away from the main creek but still with your own small dirt track down to the creek. A smaller paver firepit, plenty fine for sitting around an open fire while watching the stars at night. So please check by internal message before confirming your booking that way we can confirm a spot while discussing your needs to ensure you have a clear view of your camping area. Onsite we have our shared outhouse porta toilet which is positioned in the middle of both camping areas for everyone's convenience. Take note of our extras available when confirming your booking. Pets must be kept on a lead at all times as we have vulnerable wildlife, cassowary, wallabies etc. living here too. The cassowary do wander through the property with chicks and feed on the rainforest fruits which is one of the reasons why we strictly don't allow dogs off leash at any time here. There is an off-leash area at the beach. There are seasonal creeks with beautiful waterfalls within the property to explore. If you looking for the perfect place to relax in nature then this is where you'll find it. Platypus Pool campsite offers a very private spot overlooking the water. We currently only have one site so you will have the place to yourself. The creek borders the Tully Falls National Park with many huge Eucalyptus trees and rainforest species, moss laden logs and fungus galore in the wet. Wildlife ranges from birds, frogs, butterflies, gliders and possums. Guests are required to be fully self sufficient with their own toilet/shower facilities and must take all waste and rubbish with them on departure. There is no reception for phones etc at the site. Campfires are welcome in the fire pit provided but please check restrictions before lighting a fire. Platypus are regularly seen in the creek and occasionally tree kangaroos visit the property too. We have our own house cow and chooks who are part of the family. Sorry, no pets.

Welcome to TROPIKARMA camping and music at Bramston Beach Rainforest. The views of the rainforest are magnificent, and the peaceful serenity is the first thing you'll feel. We welcome self-contained caravans and tents, motorhomes etc. we now have a large open field available ideal for groups of campers as well as the secluded spots listed. NEW for 2023 is our entertainment room/camp kitchen. We encourage muso's to play together here acoustically and we have a stage for some events. Musos can and will gather any day or evening of the week. We are aiming at Folk, Country and traditional music not modern, and we have a friendly regular Saturday muso jam from 10am with no fixed finish time. Any instrument and voices welcome to join in. Ukuleles and accessories are for sale and introductory lesson free with every instrument. re-stringing & setting up your ukulele is also available. This beautiful property is set in 100 acres of beautiful rainforest. There is wonderful birdsong and forest walks set in lush rainforest. We grow exotic fruits in the cleared areas & there is surplus fruit seasonally for sale. We invite you to enjoy and share our rainforest setting near the ocean. Pets must be kept on a lead at all times as we have vulnerable wildlife, cassowary, wallabies etc. living here too. The cassowary do wander through the property with chicks and feed on the rainforest fruits which is one of the reasons why we strictly don't allow dogs off leash at any time here. There is an off-leash area at the beach. There are seasonal creeks with beautiful waterfalls within the property to explore. Please check your site on foot for ground condition & overhanging trees before driving in especially in the wet season, although most sites are very well drained.

You will have access to our beautiful peaceful surroundings, with adequate shelter under some lovely big trees park your camper or pitch a swag. We also have a nice running creek that you can take a cooling down soak in or just enjoy watching our many wild life that are present throughout the creek, fish , eels and turtles. It's truly a very private and relaxing spot to chill out and enjoy camping for a few days or whatever suits your needs while passing the area. Plenty of fantastic swimming holes nearby including Josephine falls and Babinda boulders very popular spots for tourist and the locals. Site 1 right down on the creek large grass flat space big enough for two families to set up camp. The creek runs around the outside so there are a number of viewing points to see the wildlife mentioned above. A set of solar lights hang over the firepit area allowing for more light while cooking on our wonderful swinging hotplate BBQ. Site 2 Our newer spot work in progress not so ideal for camper trailers. your situated under our tree line away from the main creek but still with your own small dirt track down to the creek. A smaller paver firepit, plenty fine for sitting around an open fire while watching the stars at night. So please check by internal message before confirming your booking that way we can confirm a spot while discussing your needs to ensure you have a clear view of your camping area. There are six unique camp spots on the property featuring beach, rainforest or parkland views. Three spots are for the more adventurous and a 4WD is required ~ you won't be disappointed.This property suits self contained campers only (no toilet or shower facilities). These sites are unpowered but fresh water is available as there is a cold outdoor shower. We are children and dog friendly. Surrounded by 40,000 acres of world heritage rainforest, 15 minutes outside the village of Kuranda, you will camp next to the mighty Barron River. This place is totally private and you have access to a sandy beach where swimming is safe and completely secluded. It's a great place for kayaking and stand up paddle boarding. There is a 360 degree view from the property, with nothing made by man in the way. When we purchased this property 37 years ago and built our unique home, it was denuded cattle land, and now we are surrounded by the most beautiful rainforest. We planted approximately 8000 trees.! We have 4 sites available all close to the river, and can provide water as well as access to our toilet. We are agile wallaby carers, with the rescued joeys being released back into the forest from here. After a day of kayaking or hiking or exploring the area we also offer a sunset massage (as available ) by a local masseuse who lives on the property. Watch the stars in the night sky at your own campfire.
