If you looking for the perfect place to relax in nature and escape the heat on the coast, then this is where you'll find it. Platypus Pool campsite offers a
very private spot
overlooking the water. We currently only have one site so you will have the place to yourself.
The creek borders the Tully
Falls National Park with many huge Eucalyptus trees and rainforest species, moss laden logs and fungus galore in the wet. Wildlife ranges from birds, frogs, butterflies, gliders and possums.
Guests are required to be fully self sufficient with their own toilet/shower facilities and must take all waste and rubbish with them on departure. There is no reception for phones etc at the site.
Campfires are welcome in the fire pit provided but please check restrictions before lighting a fire.
Platypus are regularly seen in the creek and occasionally tree kangaroos visit the property too. We have our own
house cow and chooks who are
part of the
family.
