This has to be the nicest camp spot I’ve ever stayed at. If you are looking for a peaceful place to camp away from people and reconnect with nature, this is the place! Simone is very friendly and will show you around. There’s mini hikes to do through the forest, plus swimming in the creek. Highly recommend this spot.

We enjoyed our camping experience on Simone’s beautiful property. The site was pristine, accessible by 4x4 and in a very private location. Bird life was prolific and the creek lovely for a quick swim.
Simone took us around the property and showed us areas of interest where we could walk to.
Hema maps brought us directly to the driveway.
We will definitely return and recommend this camping spot.

Absolutely stunning spot. Running creek, old tropical bush, and not another person in sight. The perfect place for a recharge. We loved it and would have returned for the October long weekend in a couple of weeks, but someone beat us to it. Looking forward to heading back there soon. A short drive to the Herberton Historic Village. Glad we didn’t take the generator, this spot is very peaceful. Simone is an awesome host, shows you what you need and then the place is yours. Highly recommend the Platypus pool.

Simone was lovely and even though we arrived late, took the time to show us her beautiful property. The camp site is private, with breathtaking old growth trees surrounding the clearing.
The walks around the property are lovely and we were lucky enough to see a platypus.
If you are looking for a peaceful and private stay amongst the trees, this is the place to go.

Stunning clearing among tall trees and right by a lovely creek. Simone will show you to the site and tell you about walks around the property and local platypus. Peaceful and private. I can't wait to visit again.

The host was very welcoming and the site was private and peaceful. We saw platypus and plenty of birds. We will definitely stay here again.
