Our family of 4 had a beautiful, peaceful getaway in this stunning eco village. Miriam and the community were all so helpful and welcoming. Great location to explore rock pools, water falls and beaches. The kids had a great time in the communal swimming pool and tennis court. The cafe and grocer in the village are delightful with local delicacies. Also make sure you have at least one session at the bathhouse! Thank you Miriam and Nick we will be back!

Accessing the rail trail was very easy, just down the road, ride straight from the door. Nestled in a very quiet area, with lovely parkland, much wildlife and a wonderful cafe a short walk away, it had everything we could need. Loved the cozy get away at the Macadamia Lodge. Being able to disconnect from the world and enjoy each other's company was just what we needed to hit pause on our busy lives. No social media, no news, no rushing around. Just relaxing. The boardgames provided were more than enough to keep us entertained and the fireplace was warm enough for the whole room well into the night. Was a very successful surprise birthday get away for us and we definitely highly recommend visiting! If you're one to enjoy a movie or two, Rosemary and Russell are more than happy to provide a tv and DVD player.

We had a very peaceful stay at the Hut, surrounded by nature - a highlight being sleeping with all the windows open under the net, and hearing the babbling creek, and bird & insect life all around us. It’s the perfect spot to hit the Rail Trail, we did 58km and soaked in the hot tub that night. The Hut has everything you need - bbq, coffee machine, kitchen utensils, large fridge, linen & towels. Burringbar town is super close if you want a meal out. We had a delicious breakfast at Teakwood, and got to meet Craig and have a chat about the history of the property. It’s a lovely place for couples to disconnect.

Fantastic stay, enjoyed the beautiful views and the staff were welcoming and helpful. Everything we needed was easily accessible and cleaned regularly. The maintenance man was incredible, awaiting us with lighting at the bbq out of the scheduled hours due to heavy cloud coverage. Amazing place and great hikes, be sure to pack insect repellent and beware of the leeches (they are plentiful). Overall an amazing time spent and great value, just wish we could have stayed longer
