Daintree RV camp is located on picturesque 400 acre Kenadon Brahman Bull Stud Farm in the village of Daintree. The campground is only 300 meters from the village centre with public amenities, cafe, hotel/restaurant, river cruises, fishing trips and boat ramp.
Daintree RV Park faces across Daintree River to magnificent tropical rainforest and Thornton Peak, 4th highest mountain in Queensland. The open fields offer clear vision for amazing tropical sunsets. Watch the brahman beef cattle grazing around the park.
The Osborne family are pioneers in farming in Daintree going back five generations. Daintree Village is a short stroll up Dagmar Street before reaching public toilets, mail box (pick up mail from Daintree Village Hotel), Croc Xpresso Cafe (breakfast & lunch), Daintree Village Hotel (lunch & dinner), Daintree Originals (souvenirs, arts, crafts, t-shirts and tropical clothing).
The CREB Track is nearby running through the heart of the Daintree Rainforest to Roaring Meg Falls and on to Wujal Wujal. Only 4x4 vehicles without trailers on this adventurous track. The CREB Track is currently open. Also there is the Bloomfield Track running from Wujal Wujal to Cape Tribulation.
A large open marquee area is provided shelter and shade between all sites. Table and chairs are provided.
We welcome your pets but they will have to be on leash.

Absolutely stunning place! The camping spot is about 800m from the homestead so there is total privacy, has 360 degree views, cows and horses wondering around, a dam below, vast grassy areas, forest......
Welcoming and friendly hosts, Katie delivered fresh hot bread, eggs and firewood that we added to our booking to our site.
Great location to explore the region.

Fantastic spot with level, green, well kept grass. Beautiful outlook of mountains with the Daintree river below. Easy 5 minute stroll to the tiny Daintree township and pub. Peaceful watching the cows and calves directly adjacent to site. Ending up staying 5 nights and used this as our base to visit Port Douglass (45 minute drive), Cooktown and back in a day (long day driving) and the very challenging 4WD Creb track and just time to chill and enjoy the serenity.
Potable water on site is a bonus and helped us extend our stay.

What a beautiful slice of paradise! We were up on the hill with a dam at the bottom. It was amazing. Such a lush site with panoramic views. Kids and dogs loved it. Good communication and flexibility from host with wet weather conditions. Defs need a 4wd for access.

What a most amazing area to stop and relax. The area by the dam was secluded and picturesque. Katie was wonderfully welcoming. We could have easily stayed longer in this serene spot. Directions for our arrival were clear. We couldn't (and neither did the weather bureau) account for the poor weather that would befall us. We were so fortunate that Katie was able to come to our rescue and assist our recovery from half way up the hill. What an amazing adventure! It was a truly memorable end to a gorgeous weekend (memorable for Katie too I'd reckon.) And absolutely yes we will love to go back.

We enjoyed our stay here. The view was amazing, the horses and cows were friendly. The only downfall was the owners 8 dogs barking at happy hour because they were wanting to be fed. It really destroyed the peaceful day we were having.

Loved it, stayed 2 nights total. Amos is very welcoming. Great spot, dog was happy and I was rested! Creek crossing to get in and cows, dogs, chickens and native wildlife to keep you occupied. Beautiful place to refresh after/before Cape York!

Spent 2 amazing nights at Clearview (ended up at Island View) after Katie provided the option! Probably the best Hipcamp we have ever experienced. Beautiful green rolling hills and views to die for, coupled with visits from cows and horses and what’s not to love! Do yourself a favour and book - now!

Really lovely and secluded orchard with mature fruiting trees, fragrant flowers, and lush green grass - a welcome stay on my way from Cape York to unwind before Bloomfield track home, accompanied by my dog. The road here is also really scenic and well worth the drive. Bonus for the crystal clear safe creek, very good for drinking & swimming. Amos & his mum made Xena and I very welcome in their slice of paradise, that is also home to Cricket & Toby (the pig defender), chickens and cows. Thank you so much for the pleasure of staying here, I'm so lucky that I got the place to myself - Xena had a ball! Recommend site 3 for most privacy, great tree to camp under, and for solar dependent campers.

We had such a wonderful stay at Dingo Pocket. The property is incredibly peaceful, surrounded by beautiful scenery and plenty of space to unwind. It’s the perfect spot to switch off, enjoy nature, and soak up the tranquility. Watching the cows wander through the paddocks and stop by for a friendly hello was such a relaxing highlight. We also loved our walk down to the dam—since there were no other campers, it felt like our own private adventure. The climb back up rewarded us with breathtaking views from the top of the hills where our camp was set. We’ll definitely be back again!
