Our silo bar is a great place to gather at sunsets and also doubles as a camp kitchen. We have 7 fire pits on the property including 2 in our remote area that is designed for fully self sufficient caravans.
Campers have access to our ammenities (2 toilets and a shower) which are always kept very clean. Easy access for all vehicles.
Taking out 2nd place for Glamping in Australia a couple of years ago - it's completely unique and perfect for couples all year round!
We have a 400 mtr grass airstrip and welcome fly-in visitors (Reference OzRunways “YFIG”). Strictly by arrangement.
Firewood is available to purchase.
NOT suitable for children or pets due to lots of wildlife, dense bush and no internal fencing.

We loved a few quiet nights away at this hidden gem. We booked at short notice and had no issues finding the place with clear instructions. The site was perfect, camp fire and bench seats was a lovely little spot to sit back and watch the stars while roasting a few marshmallows. The basic toilet was an appreciated touch for the females in our group. Very private spot, did not see the host (no need - but they were very attentive and quick to respond to messages with questions) it felt very secluded though only a short drive from the town to grab supplies.
The horses came down to the damn for a nightly visit which was quite magical.
A few local sights worthwhile to visit like the lookout and suspension bridge which is home to beautiful turtles. The locals of laidley were super friendly and we had some great food from the local chippo and bakery.
If you are looking for a comfortable off grid stay (dog friendly too!) this place ticks all the boxes.

Weekend Trip to FigTree, Irongate
We had a gorgeous weekend escape staying in the beautifully set up silo. It was 5deg outside and we were so cosy inside with our fireplace. So quiet, gorgeous views, spectacular sunset, awesome stars. Thought, care and quality has gone into the silo but the property and gardens. Loved it.

Came here with a couple of my friends, we booked the absolute stunning glamping silo. I would highly recommend this as the amenities and views of the night sky were amazing as always. Ruth and Ken definitely made the place feel so much like home for myself and my friends. We'll definitely be coming back soon 🙂
