The property is 5 minutes from the main street/CBD Chinchilla. Phone a taxi or take a stroll in to town to dine if you don't want to unhook or you can call and get a pizza delivered, plus the RSL & Club Hotel, can pick you up & return you, for free in there mini vans at our main gates
You can paddle boat, canoe, kayak or tinny boat on the lagoons as part of your stay with us.
Ruben One Hill under the gum trees, or enjoy our massive 10 metre deck over the water and watch the wildlife float around.
There is also a great spot to watch the kangaroos coming for a drink and to lay under the trees. The most exciting part is, you could get lucky and see a Koala sitting in a gumtree beside your vehicle. We have seen a number of them while building this beautiful boutique camp grounds for visitors to enjoy in the western downs, Chinchilla. Please Note fire wood is $10.00 for a good size bag

Kurrajong can be accessed from the Moonee Highway, the Dalby/ Kogan Road or Ducklo School / Gulera RoadsGuests can find their own campsite or use one of ours which is already set up with fire pit. If you choose to find your own camping area please keep all fires contained. Tincurra, once a lambing paddock for the old Wieambilla Homestead continues to be a working farm set on 211 acres. Located in the middle of Kogan, Chinchilla, Tara and Condamine.
Set up camp anywhere you wish on our 211 acre property either with the cattle or away from them. For swimming, we have 3 dams to choose from; and a creek which meanders through the back corner of the property; some very heavy wooded areas or more grassy areas.
Come to the main house for a coffee, sit down and share a yarn or two around a camp fire. Fishing and yabbying permitted on a catch and release basis. Outdoor movies, or have a game of darts. Bushwalking and birdwatching.
Fires are accepted as long as there are no fire bans in our area.

Absolutely loved this place! Isolated, peaceful & beautiful. The night sky was stunning. Host was so friendly, kind & accommodating. One of our favourite hipcamps to date. We swam in the dam & the host even allowed us to use their canoe. Thank you so much for such an enjoyable stay.

A nice spot. Quiet, yet close to Chinchilla if you want to stretch your legs. We stayed on the unpowered side of the camp. Short walk to the shower block and lovely having space all around.

Another thing is that some mobile providers don't have network coverage in the area, so make sure you call the host while you have a stable connection, as the front gate might be closed.

A lovely spot to stay, spacious, drive through sites. The amenities were very well kept, nice and clean. I enjoyed the morning birdsong, and a walk through the treed area full of birds. The groundsmen do a fabulous job watering keeping the place green.

We absolutely loved our week stay at Ruben Lagoons! Great location close to town centre. Beautiful spacious bushland caravan sites with herb/veggie garden , clean ammenities and awesome massive camp kitchen with everything you need.

We had a lovely overnight stay at Rubern Lagoons. The facilities were great and it had a nice vibe. The NRL grand final was on that night so many of the other campers enjoyed watching it in the communal kitchen/dining area. Check-in was easy and it was simple to hook into the power and water.
