Our farm features lush, green rolling hills with a river, creek and dam traversing the property. There are undulating hills with pockets of forest. The campsites are nestled in the groves of trees next to the creek. There's some great swimming spots, or you can go for a bushwalk and do a spot of fossicking on the water's edge. Some parts of our property are 4WD access only, but we also have good camping spots that can accommodate 2WDs. You need to be a self-contained camper with your own camping toilet/shower, and drinking water. Christmas Creek Cedar Cabin is a Tiny Home in the Scenic Rim. Positioned on a hill above Christmas Creek to take in the views, were you can watch the sun rise over Little Widgee Mountain and the sun set over the mountains to the west. This fully contained cabin is approximately 30 square metres and features a small veranda out the front facing Little Widgee Mountain and Buchanans Fort. Sit back and relax on the bench seat or table and chairs. A larger veranda out the back faces Christmas Creek and the mountains to the west. Relax on the deck chairs and read a book, or sit at the bar and enjoy a drink while watching the wildlife. There’s a table with chairs to enjoy your breakfast or dinner outside.The loft bedroom has a queen bed. There’s reverse cycle air conditioning to keep you comfortable. The kitchen is self contained with a small microwave/oven, a 60 cm ceramic cooktop, a medium size fridge/freezer, a toaster and kettle. No Wi- Fi There’s a small firepit and chairs in the yard to enjoy the sun setting over the mountains and stars at night. The cabin is a few minutes drive to the creek where you can go swimming. For campers we are focusing on around 30 acres and spots close to Sawpit Creek would be ideal to set up camp. Bring your tent, swag or caravan and park up next to our beautiful Sawpit creek. Our property backs onto Border Ranges National Park! And you can see Mt Lindesay from our property, so bring your camera! It's 15 min to Wiangaree and 35 min to Kyogle. The camping area is 2WD accessible but you will have to cross some creeks. You should be ok in the 2WD as the creek crossing has a small incline and decline. We welcome caravans, campervans and camper-trailers/ tents. You may see us pass by the camping area from time to time. We are a friendly as 😊 and invite you to have a coffee or beer with us. There's no internet by the creek but you're more than welcome to connect to the wifi at our shack up the hill. No campfires please.

"The Island" is beautiful spot surrounded by a nice strech of the creek. The kids had a great time playing and exploring. A peaceful and quiet spot very close to Tweed Heads, although we didn't encounter another person the entire weekend, just how we like it! We'd go back here again for the tranquility and convenience. Highly recommended for a short stay.

This was a fantastic campground and experience. Vili is a wonderful host who even gave us the opportunity to feed the kookaburras as well as tell us some history of the land. I highly recommend this spot to anyone seeking a serene, peaceful getaway. We did the walk to the waterfalls (about 2 hours return but give yourself 3) directly from the property. Its a steep climb up but was well marked with strong around the trees to show you the way. The facilities were super clean and all the wildlife really added to the experience. Thank you Vili for a wonderful stay and break from the city.

I had such a lovely and peaceful stay here. I had the whole place to myself (except for the cows) which was a real treat. Quite a well kept property too. I’ve got a Toyota Corolla and that handled the 3 creek crossings and dirt roads pretty well. Just make sure to check if it 2WD safe when you arrive as I don’t think I could have gotten through if the water was any higher. The only negative feedback I have is that the directions were a little confusing and the address the owner gave me was different to the location on Hipcamp (address from owner is correct). I was also woken up at 6am to some construction work going on which lasted all morning until I left at 11:30 ish. Overall, a lovely stay and I’m sure I’ll be back ☺️

Beautiful well maintained camp sites. Lots of room between sites so felt as though you were camped in your own space. Friendly cows roaming, great swimming holes in the creek and perfect for dogs. Big fire pits at each site as well, would definitely recommend!
