Weekend Trip to Hidden Corner Magnetic Island

Steve was accommodating to a very late booking and helped us settle in as the sun went down, which was a lifesaver. Nice quiet place and his dogs are very friendly

We loved to stay at the campsite. It was very quiet and we had a lot of wallabies and Rosellas at the campsite. Tee is a very friendly host. It was a very nice stay on Magnetic Island.

What a lovely spot. We really enjoyed our time at this spot. We stayed at site 1 and it was in good clean condition upon arrival. Fireplace was good too with the gate right next to camp to access the river. Thank you for having us and we'll be back for sure!

Such a nice tucked away property west of townsville, the owners are fantastic host only happened to bump I to them as they took some horses for a ride. Extremely attentive and helpful would definitely come back. My daughters loved the horses nearby, we got to pat a few on our first night as they came to investigate our camp set up.

A bit of a farm feeling, with heaps of kangaroos at roaming at night. Very welcoming reception by all at Tee’s land. Good location and spacious sites.

Steve was a lovely host. Gave great advice and insight into magnetic island. The site is perfect for camping, close to horseshoe Bay. Highly Recommend.

Really lovely place, great location an easy drive to Townsville city centre. Hosts were very welcoming and easy to talk to. Property is well maintained with portable toilet and shower. I would definitely stay again if visiting Townsville.

Willow Vale is a great spot to camp, either camp 1 or 2 are easy access and private from each other. Racheal is a great host and very accommodating to any requests or messages.

Had a lovely night staying here. Really quiet neighbourhood. Steve’s a great host and had some good tips for the island.

What a great spot, only two sites with a big space between them. Stayed on site two which was a large flat grassed area with some gum trees. A little walk to the Reid River but it was awesome along the river, plenty of water and multiple fish species to see.

We loved our 3 day stay. We had the place to ourselves, plenty of wild life, emu, wallabies,birds.. easy walk to the river, would recommend if privacy and piece and quiet. We also had full WiFi / telstra from our own device.

Stayed in camp site 2, area was clean tidy and spacious. Enjoyed the swimming in the creek with plenty of water. Racheal come down to visit to see if everything was okay. Will stay again.
