A beautiful peaceful location with a lovely private creek. Sites are spread out and there’s only 4 so very private. Fire pits provided and pets are welcome.

Nice open space and beautiful creek. Stary nights and awesome swimming holes.
Could easily spend a week relaxing.
Close to road but only local traffic.
Dogs loved it.

Peaceful, quiet and relaxing, not a lot of water in the creek for swimming but enough to sit in and relax with a drink and cool down, the water was cold and refreshing and flowing
Sitting around the fire with friends and family and being able to have the dogs was a bonus

Lovely spot on the creek, the campsites themselves are well cleared and maintained but the area surrounding them is quite overgrown. Nice spaced out sites

We made it after work Friday night. Falling asleep with a breeze and the creek running. The place is peaceful and just right for a relaxing weekend. This has been a favourite place for us. I just wish we could come more often. Top marks to Nat for opening the place up for camping. As always, if you’re looking for quiet and easy camping, book a weekend, you won’t regret it.

A short trip from Townsville into a bush getaway. Camp 1 has easier access to the creek. You can hear the creek as you sit by the fire at night.

Camp 4 Bob's Hole
We enjoyed our short stay with our 2 dogs. The mountain views are pretty and peaceful and even had a little dip in the creek. Not much water in it at the moment but still picturesque. We appreciated the level camp site too. Thank you, we will come again.

We picked this place as it said its on 100 acres, the camp is just off the road on a 10 acre section and quite noisy from trucks and cars. Other than that it was nice.

Open paddock, neatly slashed. Nice sized fire pit also. Nice cold fresh water creek running behind the camp site that allows a shallow dip to cool down.

This was a good little spot just outside of town with a nice creek for splashing around in. Took the camp chairs down and spent most of the day in the creek.

Beautiful property, did get to see some cows which my daughter loved.
We had the place to ourselves but even if that weren't the case there is so much space and tall grass between camp spots that you still have privacy.
My doggo loved the creek, we went down and got wet both the day we arrived and the day we left, it was clean and refreshing.
Not a heap of shade around midday so sort your set up so you have some residual shade to chill by but my daughter still enjoyed a midday nap in the roof top tent so midday “winter” helped out regardless of shade.

Instructions to get to the camp were clear. The site was clean, slashed and has a small fire pit. The creek was about 25-30 meters down a steepish bank, the water was flowing but not deep, certainly enough to put a deck chair in and cool your feet. You can hear the traffic on the Giru-Woodstock road at night but the vehicles are minimal and not intrusive. Camp 4 would be the furthest from the road of all 4 camps. The orientation of the campsite affords an opportunity to get plenty of sun for the solar panels and also there is ample room to spread out.

We loved our stay. The sites were easy to find and private. It was so relaxing having a fire in the afternoon with the view of the mountains.
The creek was so clean and clear, the dogs loved being able to have a paddle.

This was a great spot for our family. The creek was runnings and was absolutely beautiful. The camp area was slashed and great for us to sit around the fire pit. The dogs loved being out here too.

Wonderful spot! Natelee was great to deal with and helpful. Nice views of the mountains and a small walk to the crystal clear creek. Had a great time with friends at camp site 4 , totally recommend for people that are self sufficient and looking for a relaxing time without neighbours near by! Thanks Natelee, we will be back soon!

Camp 4 Bob's Hole
Loads of room for the car and camper. It was great to chill by the fire and look at the starry sky. Very quiet, heard dingoes on the other side of the creek, howling while the young ones yapped. We slept peacefully and awoke to a chilly morning. We will keep returning here. Top spot, 40 minutes from our place. Can’t rate these camps enough. Matt.
