Just 40 minutes from Darwin CBD and 15 minutes from Coolalinga, our peaceful 5-acre retreat is a tropical haven teeming with wildlife. You'll spot native birds flitting through the trees, a resident frill-necked lizard basking in the sun (although he is a bit shy), and be greeted by three friendly dogs who’ll likely claim you as their own. We also share our space with two gentle horses (always keen for a pat and a carrot or two), and a ginger cat who rules the indoors.
We’re a young couple who’ve called the NT home since 2009, living a laid-back lifestyle and always happy to swap stories over a cold drink as the sun goes down.
During your stay, you’ll have full access to power, water, our refreshing pool with spa jets, and laundry facilities. Mobile reception is excellent, and if you need WiFi, just ask—we’ve got you covered.

We spent a relaxing 2 weeks at Fi and Rods place. We felt very welcomed and absolutely loved their pets. 2 horses and 4 dogs were all so well natured. The doggos hung out with us a fair bit, it was hard not to get attached. Sad faces all round when we were leaving.

The best camping not far from Darwin! We loved Deckabout Dundee - it’s camping with a few luxuries - the deck (especially the fans on a hot afternoon) and outdoor bathroom and shower are great! Our little one loved riding his bike and the dog loved it too! Great spot - not too far to travel for lunch at Dundee beach. Angelique was super responsive too.

Quiet, relaxed bush campsites only a couple kms along a dirt road which has power, water hook up & very rustic portable loos/showers plus rubbish bins. Only one other couple onsite during our 4 days here so it's a good rural base, half an hour to Darwin city. Midges really come out at dusk so you need to retreat to your caravan or tent in early evenings. Lots of birdlife, nice view looking out over horses and brahman cattle in adjoinging paddocks.

Absolutley beautiful place to stay! Quiet, peaceful, you have the place all to yourself. The deck is gorgeous, fans are a big asset in the heat of the day. Outdoor shower and toilet were amazing. We would stay again!
Road was a little tricky to find only because the entry is hidden so well, dirt track with scrub on either side but easily accessible to a large van and car. Loved our stay!

Lovely quiet, safe place to stay only 40 mins to city. Fiona and Rodney are just lovely people and very accommodating. They gave us great tips on mechanics and other supplies we needed whilst here and even took us on a buggy ride . We have thoroughly enjoyed our stay and would highly recommend to other travellers.

Easy to find, great deck to escape the red dirt, fantastic facilities (what treat!), and best of all, dog friendly (not enclosed, so escape artists on leash). Sadly, camper before me left some cigarette butts. Please take your rubbish with you when you leave. Thank you for a great stay, I'll be back!

This private block of land is ideal for group camping, providing a serene escape from the hustle and bustle of everyday life. It’s just a short drive from the beautiful Dundee Beach, making it convenient for beach outings.
The facilities, including the toilet and bathroom, are nestled among nature, which enhances the overall ambiance and privacy.
The host is incredibly easy to contact and is always available to help with anything you might need, making our stay worry-free. This was our second visit, and Deckabout Dundee has officially become our favourite camping spot!
The deck is a lovely area to unwind and relax, and setting up a campfire for the kids adds to the charm. The swing and trampoline brought endless joy and entertainment for the little ones, keeping them busy and happy.
This camping site has everything you need for a memorable getaway. Highly recommended!

Very nice camp ground with all the amenities. Would suit a large group best. Directions were simple however the street given there turns out to be 2 of them....within a kilometre of each other......google maps sent me to the other one which was a dead end....with a caravan.
