We are working small family farm only 5 km north of Orange and home to the Williewarrina Poll Hereford Stud. With an ample vegie garden, we are happy to supply you with some of our in seasonal produce, fresh eggs and home made bread for breakfast. We offer only one spacious camp site at a time with stunning views overlooking grape vines to the east of our farm. If the weather is a touch damp - which it is inclined to be in winter in Orange - we can offer you the shelter of our very large hay shed. It will easily fit a caravan and vehicle with room to spare. It will keep your gear dry and your camp site cosy. After a busy day of visiting the vineyards of Orange you are able to relax around the campfire, whether you're camped under the hay shed or not, and take in the serenity. If you wish, you can accompany us on a cattle experience with both our herefords and highlands, feeding and grooming them (weekends only). You are welcome to try your luck in our dam if you have your own fishing gear. Pets are welcome but we do have livestock on the property, as do our neighbours, so please keep them under control. Unfortunately we don't have any toilets or amenities at this point so you will need to be fully self contained and take your waste away.

PLEASE NOTE dam is low due to lack of rain, refer to cover photo for reference this picture is november 2025 day trips are also available by booking the site that is listed as ‘day trips’ please read the description under that site before booking. There is one toilet available, a portable toilet (if the toilet runs out of soap/paper etc you will need to supply your own. The property offers a large dam for kayaking, fishing, yabbying. There is also bush walking. There is a small common area/ shed available with a bbq for guests to use and a table. If exploring please do not go through any fences as you may end up on a neighbors property. Guests may camp as close or far away from the main dam as they like, camp sites are first in first served. Pets allowed if kept under control, firewood is permitted to be used from the ground only no felling of standing trees, you may have a fire on the ground. NO fires during a total fireban. Please find your own way to camp by following your map that will be sent to you on booking and the signs that are posted from the driveway on after you turn in the main entrance, no need to meet and greet with host although I may come around occasionally to see if everything is going alright.

Burrill Banks is a 35-acre hobby farm just off the Newell Highway, approximately 33km from Parkes, NSW, home to the famous ELVIS Festival (8th- 12th January). Just a few Km up the road is the famous Parkes telescope, or "The Dish". Large cropping and sheep farms surround us. We have 35 sheep and 2 dogs. Burrill Banks is on Burrill Creek which runs down from the Harvey’s Ranges to the east of Goobang National Park. The creek is often dry through the summer. The camping area is about 7 acres with open and treed areas. It is on the south side of Burril Creek'. The site can accommodate up to 8 caravans. Alectown is historically a farming and gold mining area with mine shafts from the 1800’s dotted across the area. You can visit an open-cut gold mine in Peak Hill 15 km north of Burrill Banks. For walking and bike tracks plus tonnes of sites and activities, visit the Parkes Visitors Centre.
