2 nights at Oasis of Hope

We camped in a camper trailer and thoroughly enjoyed the beautifully kept grounds and very comfortable bathroom. The creek and wood fire barbecue were also highlights (however i had to spend 45 minutes cleaning the barbecue before we could use it). One thing I would warn future travellers (and we spoke with the camp hosts) but if travelling to Oasis from Dorrigo - DO NOT trust google maps “fastest” route along Corfes road. Corfes road is impassible (its been gated off but we were told by camp owners its barely walkable for at least the last few years). We hope the hosts make this information available to other guests if they have the done so already. If travelling from Dorrigo or inland region you need to go the less direct way via Coramba.

Such a beautiful space! Great bathroom facilities and laundry. Added bonus of power at the site too. Lovely walk up the river to the swimming hole - we will be back!

We had an absolutely amazing time at Oasis of Hope! The campsite is stunning—peaceful, beautifully maintained, and surrounded by nature. The amenities were excellent, and there was so much to explore in the area. We especially loved the creek walk and swimming holes—they were a real highlight. The host was incredibly communicative and helpful throughout our stay. We couldn’t recommend this place more highly and will definitely be coming back!

Beautiful grassed area, mostly level, crystal clear creek, facilities were fine. Ridiculous effort to be able to ring someone beforehand to ask some questions. Bit expensive for what you get.

We did a road trip from sunny coast this was our first stop for two nights and was my partner’s favourite spot. The grounds were immaculate and we were lucky enough to have the whole unpowered site to ourselves it’s was complete serenity right out the front of that beautiful flowing creek toilets were very clean absolutely no reception but that didn’t worry us Complete place to unwind and relax the bugs were a little annoying but that’s camping ☺️ We will be back with our adult kids and their dogs

We had such a wonderful stay at this Hipcamp! The property is beautifully set up with thoughtful touches that make camping easy and enjoyable—there’s a great gazebo, a well-equipped dishwashing station, and a fantastic fire pit for cozy evenings. The real highlight was the stunning swimming spot—so peaceful and refreshing! The entire place had such a calm, inviting atmosphere, and the hosts were absolutely amazing—so polite, welcoming, and genuinely hospitable. It’s clear they’ve put a lot of love into this place. We can’t wait to come back! Highly recommend to anyone looking for a peaceful getaway.

We really loved our stay at the Oasis of hope! We extended our stay because it is so beautiful. We had the campsite to ourselves, surrounded by lush rainforest, a gorgeous creek with clear water, perfect for swimming. We loved the stunning surroundings, great facilities (showers, laundry & dish washing room, indoor deck etc) and friendly staff. Highly recommended!

This was a great spot to camp and highly recommend. The camp area was well maintained and looked after, the facilities available were great and clean. Can understand access could be an issue in wet weather as you cross some very low areas with creeks but we had perfect weather the whole week. The nearby creek with swimming hole was great for us and the dogs to cool down. As always just be aware of the wildlife in places like this, especially if you have young kids or pets, we came across many different types of wildlife (some very cool), but the goannas, snakes and bull ants were a concern with our little dogs, but we keep our dogs on a lead near us so we’re able to grab them quickly when needed, so for future campers, just keep an eye out. Was a great few days and hope to come back again soon!

Nested in the Coffs Harbour hinterland is this stunning 250 acre property, offering both powered and unpowered site options and great facilties over 2 campsites. Wayper Creek flows though the property, and there are manicured lawns, a large toilet and shower block with hot showers, a caravan dump point, a large BBQ shelter, firepit, and lots of lovely spots to enjoy the plethora of wildlife. During holiday season we have a second campsite opened, which has lovely amenities, too. We regularly have abseilers come down our creek, as a set of 7 waterfalls is only a 60-minute hike through the creek away. It is a stunning place for relaxation. Pets are welcome too.

HIDING IN THE MIDDLE OF EVERYWHERE! Pure. Unadulterated. WILD. 104 very private acres, securely sandwiched between a National Park Nature Reserve and State Forest. On a dead end road. No agriculture or farms upstream, only one other like-minded property owner. Secluded, but hiding smack bang in the middle of everywhere! From vertiginous sandstone cliffs on which epipetrics cling tight, right through to palm-filled rainforests, and with two quite different creek systems (including a monster waterfall), you'll be spoiled for things to do and places to explore - without even leaving the property! HISTORY This land is Gumbaynggirr land. Please be particularly mindful of our First Nation's long presence on this land. In the 1800's, white men came seeking Red Cedar, closely followed by settlers having a go at dairying; though logging has remained this area's mainstay. This special property, despite last being selectively logged about 50 years ago, hosts many huge old-growth trees remaining steadfast for your discovery and wonder. And many more are continuing to grow out too. About 35 years ago about nine of this property's eastern-most 104 acres became part of a far larger nashi pear orchard which filled much of the flats of this top end of the valley that you see today. Ultimately they failed to set good commercial fruit, and the rootstocks took over. You can see remnant rows of these trees just south of the property, from along the road. (Beware though - they have spikes that could puncture Caterpillar tracks!) MORE RECENTLY extensive lantana control efforts have been undertaken as we now move into revegetating with native species and implementing a permaculture plan. Today the property is registered with Land For Wildlife and hosts a very wide mix of native vegetation communities. ACTIVITIES Bird watch. Climb. Abseil. Photograph wildflowers. Paint. Swim. In the next valley there's even gold to be found. Explore trails by mountain bike. Whale watch. Surf. Learn SCUBA. Go beach-combing. Catch a mudcrab. Go whitewater river rafting. Ask your host about where to find all the local waterfalls, the best walking, how to find gold, the gnarliest off-road tracks, Anything is possible here in this magnificent part of the world, except perhaps snow and ice.

Never Never Park is a Sub-Tropical Rainforest property which borders the ancient Gondwana World Heritage National Park on 2 sides including along Coopernook creek. Located half an hours drive Northeast of Dorrigo and 1 hour West of Coffs Harbour (via Eastern Dorrigo Way) in the beautiful Bellingen Shire, surrounded by various National Parks with 4WD tracks, crystal clear creeks, waterfalls, cascades, swimming holes and picnic areas. The property is 400 acres featuring spring fed mountain streams, cascades and waterfalls that run through its central gorge. First surveyed in 1906 and logged in the days of bullocks and hand saws, remnants of a bygone era remain including the “Jack Feeney Memorial Giant Tallowwood Tree”, a Champion Tree of Australia listed in the National Register of Big Trees. It’s over 50m tall, more than 1000 years old, and was around long before Captain Cook reached our shores. The landscape starts in dense Sub-Tropical Rainforest opening up to lush green pastures overlooking the amazing views to the west showcasing the rolling lush green pastures, hills and 1600m high mountain range towards Marengo. The local fauna is amazing and quite rare, featuring the locals of the Gondwana Rainforests, Koala’s, Wallabies, Paddy Melons, Lyre Birds, Satin Bower Birds, Glossy Black Cockatoo’s, King parrots, Crimson Rosella’s, Wedgetail Eagles, Catbirds, Riflebirds, Fairy wrens, Diamond pythons, Water dragons, Giant Panda snails, Glow Worms, Fire Flys and many more… including our Horses, Cows, Chooks and Bees. Similarly, the flora is very diverse including Native Tall Hardwoods, various types of Palms and tree ferns, Rainforest and flowering Trees, Vines, flowering grasses, Stag Elk horns and other epiphytes, Crows nests, Mosses, Orchids and more. A magical land that time forgot - Tranquil and Peaceful. Hang out in the lush greenness and read a book, walk barefoot in the paddocks, explore the creeks and waterfalls, walk the many trails through lush rainforest, birdwatching, gold panning, mountain biking or just sit around and enjoy the spectacular scenery…360 degree sky watching, see the Milky Way come alive at night, Clouds being birthed out of mountain gullies after rains, rolling mists and magical sunset views to the mountains… take your pick….
